Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010

I want the Pens to win against the Senators. It should be us to put them away. Of course first priority is winning the cup but we'll never hear the end of it from Pens fans if we don't go through them like a butcher knife through warm butter.

Then again it could be equally fun to make fun of them for not getting past the first round BUT NO, we need to do this ourselves. By our own hands, and when I say our I mean the actual team.

To be honest I just want to win the F'ing Cup and I don't care if the Caps have the "easiest road" possible. As a DC sports fan I just feel like this freaking championship monkey off my back.
Next year we can beat the crap out of the pens in the playoffs.

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010

We beat the Penguins every game this year right? 4-0?

We lost to Ottawa 3 times.. won once

might be better that we face the Pens

Still we beat them 3-1 last year only to loose to them in the playoffs. I wouldn't overlook the Pens though I do want to beat them.

He looked pretty much on his game last night from the little bit that I caught. He almost tied it up with about 30 seconds left, which would have given him a hat trick, but his shot was just wide of the net. When he's clicking that Shrek-looking goof scares me more than crosby.

Definitely pumped. I don't care about all the awards and records broken during the regular season because this is the season that really matters. Come on CAPS!

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs 2010

Halak looks really solid so far. 10 saves, 0 goals allowed. We're pacing for about 60 shots on goal right now. A few will get in.

It's only a matter of time. We're going to get 4 or 5 in when it's all said and done.

Well, then I guess we're both prophets.

In all seriousness, if we don't knock it off with the penalties, better teams will get us. Jose is red hot the past 20 games or so, but we can't be giving the opponent a man advantage 4 minutes of every efffing period.
