Re: Dallas Score Predictions
I'm going 27-10 Skins in the belief that Gibbs pulls out all the stops cause nothing will regain the hopes of the Redskins faithful like a nice victory in Dallas going into the bye week!

Re: Dallas Score Predictions
Redskins 27
Cowturds 13 It will be close through the third quarter, but we will wear them down and our D will score a TD on an INT by Taylor to seal the game in the 4th. We will win the turnover battle....our D will get 3 and Brunell will throw one INT on a tipped pass. Skins TD's by Portis and Patten. Portis will get just over 100 yds. Jones will be held to under 50. Bledsoe will get sacked 4 times, Brunell once or twice...his scrambling ability will help him make plays, unlike Bledsoe the statue. I just have a feeling that the Skins will be really focused and determined to win this game, while the Cowboys will have been reading a little too much of their own press and think that it will be easy win because "they always beat the Redskins".....just a gut feeling.... |

Re: Dallas Score Predictions
This isn't a pretty pick but I say 12-0 Skins. It would be an ugly win but I would take it. Either way I would bet the under tonight.

Heck, I understand how you're feeling because I was that way for the better part of the last 5 seasons because you just dont believe or have faith andfyou see other teams passing you by Cowboys/Redskins aside, thats why Im so excited about the '05 Boys Started with the trade with Buffalo last year--trading down 20 or so slots last year into early round 2, got a 5th and got their #1 pick in this years draft So, for JP Losman, we got Julius Jones, Sean Ryan, and Marcus Spears--and we wound up with Buffalo's QB of the last 3 seasons in Bledsoe Parcells goes back to his roots and goes to a 3-4...Replaced chief scout Larry Lacewell with Jeff Ireland and had potentially best draft since the "Dirty Dozen"--every pick made this year made the team including 3 UDFA's Great UDFA signings and trade to get Fujita for 2 6th round picks We've got just under 5 mil in cap room and more next year whenever the next CBA gets approved For the Redskins fans sake, I cap hell part II isnt as bad as it might be And starting in '07 the skins keep (and add) draft picks instead if using them to get has been's and over-paying them grotesquely 3 or 4 draft selections a year suck- A good draft with multiple picks, drafting wisely, and prudent FA PU's is the only way to have quality depth in this day and age Philly, NE, Pittsburgh are the models Snyder really needs to watch what is now going on in Dallas

Re: Dallas Score Predictions
i was going through the numbers, trying to make some sense of what is really going on in the nfl instead of just listening to all the talking heads. i mean i watched washington and only washington in the offseason, so when guys who may have seen a highlight package start spouting off about "continued offseason deficiencies" i see it as guys taking shortcuts.
so i was going through the boxscores, seeing the skins give up 166 yards to a bears team that suddenly exploded on the lions, and seeing the same chargers that battled to the end with the cowboys suddenly come up lame in denver to a broncos team that had been thrattled by the dolphins just a week earlier. i couldn't make sense of it, it seems that either the media is indeed using shortcuts or else i'm delusional. call me delusional, the skins win this one going away 27-13. having watched the chargers-cowboys i have no clue how the cowboys are going to protect drew bledsoe consistently against a defense as physical as the skins. our offense holds the key and i think a certain hof head coach was holding back against the bears (there i'm delusional). can't wait for the show, Hail to the mf'ing Redskins!!!! |

Re: Dallas Score Predictions
1st Quarter: J. Jones runs well early, setting up Bledsoe touchdown pass. Portis is steady running the ball and Brunell completes a few short to medium passes, but drive stalls, making us settle for a field goal. Dallas' running game comes to a halt, but Bledsoe's passes move them downfield again near the end of the quarter. Dallas 7 Washington 3.
2nd Quarter: 'Skins defense digs in and Dallas only manages a field goal. Both offenses struggle for the rest of the quarter, but Washington puts together a drive in the final three minutes, mostly relying on running from Portis and Betts as well as a couple crucial third down completions from Brunell. Team settles for field goal in final seconds before halftime. Dallas 10 Washington 6. 3rd Quarter: Washington puts together early second half drive with solid passing from Brunell coupled with Portis running. Inside the ten yard line, Brunell finds Royal for a touchdown. Both offenses then struggle offensively, but a Washington turnover late in the quarter puts Dallas in field goal range. Washington 13 Dallas 10. 4th Quarter: Although Dallas' offense fails to move the ball far, they do get a field goal early in the 4th to tie the game. Both teams struggle to move the ball until in the last six minutes, Washingon puts together a solid drive inside the Dallas twenty. They settle for a field goal with two minutes remaining and then kickoff deep to Dallas. The Cowboys offense initially makes a drive to midfield, but on 3rd and long Bledsoe is pressured and throws an interception to seal the Redskins victory. Washington 16 Dallas 13.

last year we got taylor and cooley who aren't jut starters, but huge upgrades... and that's just two picks, i wish they were all like that... and i wish we had more chances too, since a lot of the good players without drawbacks tend to stay with their clubs until 30... dallas definately had a good offseason, i'm just surprised it took parcells two years of wading around with crap talent to finally get it right... and i was also surprised how fast he was able to fix it (5 months??). anyways, here's hoping your team rots and they give you every reason to cry. |

Goes double for me. It would take a Super Bowl win to get rid of the last 12 seasons bitter taste, but the Cow-Whores failing would be some consolation. |
