Gotta say the defense ended up allowing 18 at home, that’s not bad. second half they played better

Re: Unofficial New Era Thread - Week 2 v Giants
Agreed. 1-1 is a better record than a few better teams out there.
Take the positives, JD no turnovers, and moved the ball when it counted. Now we just need to get the passing game going and work Brown into the O to improve redzone opportunities. The D is what we knew it would be... |

Re: Unofficial New Era Thread - Week 2 v Giants
I think St. Juste played fairly well. We need another CB though. Mike Davis is awful.
I really hope the d-line improves with Johnny Newton, they are not looking well right now BRob weas a beast today. But we need to finish in the redzone.

Jayden looked more comfortable passing today The defense did stiffen up, it was the terrible drive before the half and giving up the 4th down that pissed me off, but our dumb mistakes made this game close Any other team is in this position and its a 38-13 win for them, but this is normally hte kind of game we lose so I am happy about the win

Also, props to the equipment staff for finally making sure Jayden's helmet doesn't come off.

It was ugly, but we slayed the amazing Daniel Jones.
What a monkey off of the back. Congrats to Daniels for his 1st career win.

The linebackers luvu and B dub also showed up on defense. They gave up 6 points the second, they played fine decent after halftime

Re: Unofficial New Era Thread - Week 2 v Giants
Juste had the best game of his career, definitely top 3. Even when Nabers got that 1st down late in the game, he had no chance. The Giants drew up the apparently unstoppable drag route.

Re: Unofficial New Era Thread - Week 2 v Giants
Glad we got the win; but if Nabers doesn’t drop that pass on 4th down; we likely lose. I’ll never understand why CB was not seriously addressed last offseason. St Juste, Forbes (when playing), Noah I, Mike Davis are huge liabilities and will cost us games.
Love the B-Rob, Eckler RB combo. Ertz had a great game. Hopefully we found a Kicker. 1-1 is better than 0-2. |

Re: Unofficial New Era Thread - Week 2 v Giants
We are 1-0 when our kicker goes for 7 for 7. That's an undefeated pace. I'll watch it every week if it ends with a W.
