The guy was an iron man until last season, he can still be productive

I wouldn’t mind if RK came back as a part time pass rusher...what’s that 7 million per? Sure

I think that’s the plan. Bring Ryan back if he will decrease his salary to that level. If not, he will be traded. I think it will work for both the team and Kerrigan. He’ll be the backup to Young and Sweat. Our pass rush will be fierce because everyone will be super-fresh with Kerrigan and Ionnidas coming in as the backups. I also wonder if Ionnidas will beat out Payne in the TC for the first team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think it's VERY likely that they take Young with the second pick, but I'm not willing to write it in pen yet...

A big trade deal is Highly doubtful. Teams can get a cheaper deal by going to Detroit. Also, historically the big trade deals DON’T work. Didn’t work out for us with the big RG3 deal. The bad history of monster trades is why teams shy away from them. Chase Young will be on this team and we will have an amazing pass rush, without blitzing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I want CY unless we get 1st rd picks over the next three years. Our rotational front four has the potential to be good. Imagine just having to get the QB not holding gaps or taking up space.

Yeah, but with Chase on the edge and Kerrigan (restructure his salary) and Ionnadis as the backups to keep everyone fresh, we won’t have a good pass rush, we will have a potentially “great” pass rush which will instill fear in QB and DC. I also think you’ll see Sweat come into his own as a very good pass rusher. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And to be fair, we were on the wrong side of the RGIII deal. |

Yeah, I think the Redskin’s pass rush will improve a great deal for the following reasons: 1. The defensive coordinator, Del Rio, is light years better than Greg Manusky. The entire defensive schemes will be better than Manusky’s. Del Rio has led defenses in the top 10 and even top 5 in the NFL. Manusky has led his defenses to the bottom of the NFL (2019 -Redskin’s were 27th). So we’ll see our pass rush get better JUST due to a better run defense. 2. 4-3 versus 3-4. Sweat went back into coverage about HALF the pass plays because of the 3-4 defense. The 4-3 is much better suited to the players we have and will improve the play rush over last year. 3. Chase Young. We’ll know more about Chase Young at the combine. We’ll find out about how he interviews and all the physical tests of the combine. I think we’ll find out he is a physical freak. But it’s impossible to predict the future. In college, Chase Young was considered better than either Bosa. But, until Chase actually plays in the NFL, we have no idea how good he is. Still, based on his college tape, I still think he will be as good as predicted. Will he be great, very good, or just good? Only time will tell. These three reasons are why our pass rush will get better this season. I think our pass rush will be far better than last season. We were 11th in the sacks last season. It will get better and our defense will improve A LOT from its dismal 27th ranking. That’s what’s important - getting a better defense, not how many sack Chase Young gets. I think the pass rush will be very good, for the reasons above. Above that level (outstanding, elite, great) we’ll have to see. I can’t wait to see how good it is! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jordan Reed is still in concussion protocol
I wonder what his injury settlement is going to look like. |

Jason Reed needs to retire. The fact that he is still in concussion recovery is a critical indication that he should never play again. The Redskins can not resign him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Redskins Salary Cap Status - 2020
I think he will be dropped very soon, so that he has the most opportunity to find a position with another team. Although many ppl think that Jason is making a huge mistake by not retiring, he may be picked up by another team in a one year deal. Not worth the money he will receive, but he is making this decision.
I’d be surprised if Jason Reed ISN’T dropped by the Redskins with the next week or so. His $8.5 mill in cap savings will go to pay for signing Hooper in FA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
