Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend
I have always wondered "what if" Tom Brady was on a different team in the NFL, and not one that always seems loaded up with winners like New England.
Would he still be viewed as one of the league's all time great? Maybe, but i'm not really sure. I don't see Tom Brady being the "Tom Brady" we know if he played for Oakland or Cleveland, etc....

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend
This game, my friends, showed why we need to focus on our offensive line this off-season. The Broncos won the trenches and it allowed Peyton Manning to pick New England apart.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend
Manning doesn't hold the ball for 5 seconds either, can read defenses, change plays and his line knows where he is going to be unlike our QB.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend
Pretty much. As much as our pathetic defense gets talks about, this offseason I see the majority of our focus put towards the offensive line both in free agency and the draft. Primary focus this offseason had gotta be protecting the face of the franchise and doing everything in their power to letting him shine as bright as he has the potential to do so.

Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend
If you add a great qb to a good team , you get a very good team . Put that great qb on a very good team > you get a great team. Put great QB on a great team , you end up in contention to win rings . NO qb can win a ring on a poor team , not Manning , Brady , Montana , Marino . I have no doubt that Cleveland would have been in the playoffs with either Manning or Brady . Re: Around the NFL Championship Weekend
I agree , they play on diff.teams for diff coaches , are asked to run different schemes . Elite Qb's are going to play at a high level given some talent around them. Lets hope we are talking about RG3 this way in 10 years .

He won't be Brady or manning, those guys come every 20-30 years. Nobody in todays league is close to the 2 .
