Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
I voted Bevell simply because of what I've seen from Russell Wilson. If he could RGIII to run an efficient offense like that I'd be euphoric.
Being around that Seattle defense and their coaching staff doesn't hurt either. Other than that I have no preference to anyone on our list. I'm not familiar with any of them and won't do enough research before we sign one to give a valid critique. All I know is I want our next coach to absolutely HATE losing. We need someone with a Harbaugh like passion.

Jim Cadwell may deserve a look in the second round if we get to that.

I have no idea how much time RG3 puts in,I have never heard anyone discuss it,I would love to know. If he doesnt, maybe Bevell could help that situation, who knows

He's a first in last out type. I don't think anyone can question his work ethic. |

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
In my perfect scnario, I'd take Gruden as HC with Bevell as OC and Zimmer as DC.
I cannot decide between Gruden, Bevell and Wisenhunt. I'd like to see Wisenhunt bring in Russ Grimm, but bringing in Bevell is intriguing and I love the idea of taking one of Seattle's coaches away from them. I'm just not sure if he's ready to make the leap from OC to HC. If we could get him as an OC, that would be great but I highly doubt he'd make a parallel career move and leave Seattle without a promotion. McDermott would be a good choice too. I really think it all hinges on what assistants will be joining the new coach, especially the defensive coordinator.

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
I think that would be fairly standard treatment for any of the serious candidates. If memory serves even Zorn got treated to a dinner and he was already on staff.

I have not seen anybody criticize his work ethic but I do not remember reading any stories about how good it was either I do not remember any football commentators commenting on how good his work ethic is etc., which I have seen them do about Wilson. If you say there were multiple stories then that's good to know I just haven't seen any

More seriously, dining with candidates outside of the formal interview is pretty normal stuff.

I thought this was a very good article: Teammate on RGIII: 'I Don't Think He's Changed Since the First Time I Met Him' | Bleacher Report This is my favorite line from the article:"Some players, like Polumbus, say Griffin has been unfairly portrayed as an egotistical douche. "
