Re: 2012 redskins
Outside a QB from the draft, I look for Shanny to get 2 more impact players from free agency at RB and WR for the offense.
If you take a look at both those positions in FA, the market is flooded with established players. Im gonna watch Hillis, Tolbert, and Lynch at RB as compliments to Helu and Royster/Hightower. At WR, DJax, VJax, Colston, and Bowe could all be available.

Re: 2012 redskins
I'd sign Bush and let HT go, start Helu.
WR I'd like Bowe but most would kill me for that, He's proven to be good w any qb

Re: 2012 redskins
I don't have a problem with Hightower and Helu and Royster. I'd look for a bruising RB. A power house to get those 2-4 yrds if needed on 3rd down. Unless Young is supposed to be able to do that.
Definitly we need a proven #1 WR. Stallworth is not the answer. I like Gaffney, AA is servicable, Hankerson hopefully will be ready, Austin will be one more year ready to take over for Moss who will still be on the team and maybe Robertson steps up. I'd still go QB, then either WR or OL, then FS, CB, then OL. |

Re: 2012 redskins
I live in Colorado so im forced to watch every Broncos game and Royal isn't that good. Also i think if we got a running back tolbert who is a good runner and reciver would be good. He sure is a bruiser

Re: 2012 redskins
Redskins needs in my opinion, in order of importance: QB, OL, CB, WR, NT, ILB, SS, TE, RB
QB-will be our first round pick next year, RGIII (my choice) or Barkley. I wouldn't be surprised if we draft a 2nd qb in a late round, I'd taken wheeden in the 4th or Moore in the 6th. Grossman likely the backup. OL- 2nd round pick on LG or RT early second round is a great place to get these guys. Also, I think we will also try to sign a free agent hopeufully Grubbs, Williams, or Nicks to play guard. Make a great left side of the line. CB- I've never been a big Hall fan, he gives up more big plays then he makes, just look at both Dallas Games this year. Wilson is mediocore. It would be great to get grimes or porter, more likely to get Thomas or Webb. Probably will get none of them and try to find depth or value draft picks WR- Certainly a free agency fill. Would love to get Vjax, Bowe, or Garcon. I don't think Bowe or Garcon will leave their team and V jax is going to be expensive maybe too expensive. Also, Stevie Johnson would be a great pick up even though he does stupid things he is one of the few wideouts who beats revis would love to have him at a decent price. I think we need an upgrade but Hankerson, Moss, Gaffney, and AA can be a competent if given a good qb. I think if we make a good FA grab then gaffney would be gone. 2013 we will us a first or second rounder to replace Moss especially if the QB of the future is looking solid. NT- Hopefully we can get Soliai in FA. But since we just spent a good deal of money on our DLine I think it is more likely we resign carriker and roll with what we have. ILB- Fletcher will be gone at latest in a couple years if not this year. We resign him and draft one maybe in the 3rd round to pair with Riley. Hopefully we can trade Rocky to a 4-3 team in need of a OLB, Patriots or Bears make the most sense. SS- In all likelihood we Franchise Landry. Otherwise we pick up one more in FA. TE- Resign Davis. Trade Cooley at a bargin probably a 4th or 5th rounder. Davis fits the mold of what the modern TE is becoming. Cooley cost too much and has been hurt too often. Maybe we spend a third round pick on a TE or a later on one. RB- Lynch would be a great pick up for a low price. Otherwise we run with HT and Helu, maybe, MAYBE, Shanny will take Hillis if he is cheap. |

I think Mante Teo is going back to school for his senior year, I would love to see us look at him as Fletchers replacement next year.

Re: 2012 redskins
Sorry we wont get Barkley or Luck cause we will not be picking high enough in the draft. I would not give up any high picks to move up either. If their is not a QB worthy when in the spot we pick I say we take the best impact player. Look to draft a QB in the 2nd rd.

Re: 2012 redskins
RGB III looks like the perfect fit for Shanny's system: super mobile in and out of the pocket with a really accurate deep ball. We've really missed not having that in a QB for our passing attack. That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to a D-Jax or V-Jax addition, so we could really get vertical.

Re: 2012 redskins
I say Eddie Royal, because he had the best rookie year of any of the 2008 recievers. It was also Shannahans pick. It was also Shannahan's last year, he had all those yards in his system. I thought he was injured and now he is playing under Tebow. Do you think the offense is holdong him back. I think he was hurt alot in the last two years and now he is under Tebow.
