Sure, Peyton is one of the greatest of all time, but he more than likely can't take much more of a pounding on that neck of his. We need a young QB and young talent around him. Here's what he said exactly. At no point does he say the Redskins are going to go after Peyton:

Gets so OLD, every summer it's "Skins will go after ..... " Why can't we just say Skins will draft a QB in the top 5 and build around him for once.

McNabb is certainly no Manning, but you'd have to think that Shanahan might be reluctant to go down this road again. The QB position remains only one of many needs, and filling those needs will be hampered by a trade that will most likely come with a higher asking price than the Eagles imposed with McNabb.

I agree that they are a lock. One possible winable game is against the texans. A couple pick sixs from leinart (if he is the leinart of old) and thats game.
