Re: Redskins Final Cuts

25.6 or something is our average age this year on the roster. I think that's towards the lowest in the league? I could be wrong..

Big difference then last year we were like 28/29. something.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts

I imagine royster, hurt, and jones make the PS

I see LB/WR/our OL depth as spots where we might ditch a guy to bring in someone else's trash. thompson could go too, we can use better depth at LB, CB, and OL then what we have, so those spots aren't safe yet.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts

I think LB depth is one of our most solid positions.. White looks promising and fast. Alexander, Fox, Riley, and Rob Jackson all looked great in preseason and the handful that played for us last year played well.

Thompson looks to me like another Fred Smoot. Not the fastest guy out there, but understands his role, and is always in the spot to make a play on the ball.

Dont see Anthony Armstrong getting traded. he is our deep threat WR.

Indeed, but if they are to be put on the practice squad they would probably already know about it.

Of course just because it didnt leak yet, it doesnt mean they don't know.

Re: Redskins Final Cuts

We only have two guards on our roster ? Are the Skins that confident that Locklear or Cook can play guard ?

Like it so far but I would cut/trade stalworth of a guard. We are definitly thin at guard.

I can't believe that POS Locklear made the team. That dude is ass...hope to god he doesn't get to play this season.

Welcome to the board! Love the name. And I agree with your post, since we have pretty much no depth at guard I'd assume that at least one of these wide receivers is on the way out since we can't go into the season without at least one backup guard on the roster.
