Looking through his game logs you'll find far more 3-19, 1-7, 2-38 type performances. Look, I was rooting for the guy and he's got some talent. He'll catch on somewhere else and contribute. I just don't think we're losing the next Larry Fitzgerald or anything. |

Re: Redskins release Devin Thomas
I wonder where he will land??
Theres seems to be a huge disconnect from what most of us fans (self included) and what insiders -(coaches/occasional media) are able to evalaute talent/potential. I had high hopes and realistic patience w/ DT. Afterall he was a valuable position in the draft for a team that NEEDS draft picks. Just sucks to feel like we wasted time/money/other great players ( i think desean jackson was even available then but we wanted a big receiver which i couldnt argue against but dag jokes on us again). One of these years we'll get it right and not keep drafting taylor jacobs' and stop missing out on the a.boldin's. The shape of this team is really suprising me, HTTR, I trust Shanahan. |

I would call that single game a fluke too if I had not seen him get so open so often. |

I loved the performance, but lets see it a couple weeks in a row.

Re: Redskins release Devin Thomas
Against a Saints defense that helped convince the Eagles to trade us McNabb. Let's leave it at that.

Armstrong has been money, but I still would have liked more YOUTH at the position. I'm still sad that DT was a bust. Maybe Kelly can pick it up next year, if he ever gets healthy.. |

Re: Redskins release Devin Thomas
And -- any chance this is the ULTIMATE motivator for him? For example, Shanahan dumped Banks and brought him back, same with K.Williams. Is there a chance he brings back DT after humiliating him?

Re: Redskins release Devin Thomas
Both of those guys were rookies. Banks had fumbling problems. Keiland Williams maybe, but he's still a rookie. Devin is a third year pro.
