I know they say be careful of what you wish for, but does anyone have a time machine, maybe a HOT TUB TIME MACHINE lol, so it can be September already.

It's the ankle injury I keep reading about...it sounded like a nagging thing. You get a certain amount of scar tissue and tendon/ligament damage and mobility declines.

My God, did anyone see Carriker on Redskins Nation. He looks like a barbarian. I am excited about him.

Well he looks like a white Phillip Daniels. I am pretty excited about our D-Line with him Haynesworth and Kemoeatu. Along with Golston, Daniels, and Jarmon.

Re: Redskins 2010 Draft Class with Analysis

Everyone is a little unhappy with drafts in the end because you can never address all of your needs, but to give it an "F" grade is ridiculous. Yes, a RB would be nice but they addressed the huge need at OL, added WR depth, and added a LB because they are switching defensive schemes. I thought it was a good draft even considering they didnt have many high picks

To see some of how badly Capers played at the Senior Bowl, just watch parts of Brandon Grahams highlights...

Point taken, I beleive Capers played mainly RT & they switched him to LT a 7th rd pick for a RT is great. IMO.

Re: Redskins 2010 Draft Class with Analysis

Pete Prisco had this to say about us

Washington Redskins

Best pick: They landed a franchise tackle in Trent Williams in the first round. He will protect the blind side for a long time.

Questionable move: Passing on taking a quarterback for the future at some point. Donovan McNabb can't play forever.

Third-day gem: Fourth-round pick Perry Riley is a linebacker who could be in the mix inside in the new 3-4 scheme. Riley was an active player at LSU.

Analysis: I like the pick of Williams in the first round and getting McNabb for the second-round pick is stealing. If you factor in the McNabb trade, they had a nice draft.

Grade: B-

Re: Redskins 2010 Draft Class with Analysis

A B- is about right, considering they got Mcnabb, Williams, Carriker, and a steal in Capers. I still think Perry Riley was a reach, and would've been available in the 6th (he was kinda shocked he got drafted that high). I thought a FS or RT were more pressing needs considering Rocky wasn't traded and that we have no true starter at both RT and FS, but I think Austin is a poor man's D-Jackson, and Morris might be on the field WK 1, so Shanahan/ Allen made up for it in the late rounds, but Riley IMO was not even the best avilable LB on the board.

Great, now we're going to have to face Brandon Grahm twice a year. Hopefully the Grahm/Williams battles are a lot better then the Douglas/Samuels battles we saw in the earlier part of the 2000's. Ironically though we might not have to worry about Williams against the Wares, Osi's, and Grahms. It's the average guys that might get 3 or 4 sacks a year that apparently give Williams problems. If you watch the Texas game from last year he dominated Sergio Kindle, then you watch Miami and see that he had his hands full.

What does Selvish Capers ineffectiveness at the Senior Bowl have to do with Williams?
