Yeah but he got the best corner in the game and a 2nd rounder, who wouldn't have made that deal?

I haven't heard a peep outta Portis lately, have u? He seems to be playing the good soldier routine just fine. Regardless, CP fits in to our plans, AH doesn't.
The reason CP aint talking is cause he gots two guys equally as talented as him trying for the #1 position. And I beleave Shanny has finally stopped the go run to Danny cause Coach is being MEAN.

Off Topic: I still think we were robbed in that trade.

We will be lucky to get a 2nd rounder for AH.

Portis is doing everything right. He's lost weight, showed up in great camp, attending practice, not complaining about having serious competition. We'll see how long it lasts but as of right now there are no complaints about CP.

LOL! What a pussy move that was.

I still think there is a chance we deal Portis if the right deal comes along. Portis' best days are behind him and at $10m a year he ain't worth that.

Plus Portis has durability issues and possible concussion problems that he has not tested yet, not to mention his huge $10M a year cost. If our front office really thinks Portis fits into our future plans I disagree with them. Portis gives up ans stops running hard when things do not go well.
Exactly, why is he not being shopped he is a quitter. That dude didnt have those symptoms that long he just seen the way the team was going and jumped ship.

Its the offseason. Portis has always been a work out guy. Being in shape ahs never been a problem.
Portis usually starts complaining when camp starts and is asked to play in a preseason game and it is downhill after that.

I think we'll deal anyone but McNabb if the right deal comes along...but yeah I agree that Portis would be more likely than some others

O.K. I would send Haynesworth to the Lions for Gosder Cherilus RT (fills a major hole), the Lions #2 2010 and a conditional pick 2011.

I agree with you and it was even mentioned that AH does not have a problem with staying with the Skins. He stated that after taking some time to think about it and talking with other players in a similar scheme he's not that upset knowing he will be given a chance to create chaos for other teams.

However, I think Shanahan is not happy with the whole I'm not sticking around attitude. If the team can move AH for a decent price they will but if they don't then both sides have to co-exist.
