He should change water into Guinness or his ass should be cut.

And playing against a good d-line (M. Williams, K. Williams, and Dareus)

Maybe he can also get the capitals over the hump and help the nats steal some bases.

I get where you are coming from but stats are important to a players progression especially a rookie.

For example he could light up the board and get us averaging 30 points a game but our secondary could give up more than that. And if that happens we need to make him play like Sammy Baugh, no more Safety or QB issues. Hail!

If RG3 can end up with a 82 passing rating or over, that would be success. If he can toss the football for more than 3,000 yards that would be success. If he has as many INTs as TD passes, that will be success. Even if the Redskins don't reach the playoffs and RG3 is in the running for rookie of the year, that would be success.

I would consider it a success if the R on the team's helmet means REDSKINS instead of RGIII.

Re: Expectations for Griff and the 2012 Offense

I think it's understandable to get excited after Griffin's poise and command of the offense in the preseason opener. That was the most impressive showing by a Skins rookie QB in forever.

8-8 is still my baseline i.e. we should at least achieve .500; however, I think we could win 11 or 12 games if the oline gels together (over-achieves) and the secondary does the same.

I thought Cousins was ok...he didnt get alot of help with some drops. The int was really bad. Not worried bout Cousins at this point, more worried about City of Crompton. No pt? Whats up wit dat?

If we go 8-8 and he throws twice as many TDs as INTs as well as plays all 16 games then that's success to me

Its gonna fall on the o-line IMO .. And the support from the running game, which go figure brings us back to my original point...

Re: Expectations for Griff and the 2012 Offense

Super Bowl or bust! That's what we should strive for every year!

Realistically, like others have said, at least as many TDs as INTs. Showing he can handle a real game like he did with limited time in Buffalo. Improvement over the season. Making it through all +16 games would be a plus.

I know it's only preseason, but with that game, RGII passed his first test.
