This is exactly the reason why newspapers are entirely worthless anymore. Unless you need a liner for your floor while house training a puppy.

I'm disappointed with this move. Gano is much younger, and has serious upside. If not for 5 blocked kicks due to shoddy blocking up front, he would have had a better year statistically. Do note that he made 4-6 from 50+, including a franchise record 59-yarder, whereas Cundiff has made one of his last nine from 50+. RG3 better be driving us inside the 30 for a legit chance to come away with points.

He can't be worse than Gano, so I am ok with it. No negative impact expected.

Baltimore fans were negatively impacted by Cundiff's choke from 32 yards that ended their season in the AFC Championship. If it was about consistency inside 45 yards, we should have just gone with Rackers IMO.

The Redskins front office is a bunch of blowhard idiots. They have continued time and time again to pass over the best kicker in the history of the game.....

MIKE HUSTED!!!!!

True, but had Lee Evans held on to the football in the end zone, Cundiff never would have had to 'try' that kick to force overtime.

Rackers - Gano - Cundiff. Who cares, flip a coin.

With all the weapons on offense now, Skins won't be kicking FGs >50yds.

That's true. I remember a lot of people complaining about Gano sucking when he was kicking from over 50 yards. Gotta hope that we can at least get close enough to keep the majority of FGs to 40 yards and under.

Both kickers and kick returners baffle me. At no position do players seem to go from zero to hero and back quicker than those two spots.
