This is why I think the Redskins might work out a deal with Denver to acquire Talib while given Denver Cravens. Now, yes, that doesn't seem like a likely trade, but it's been reported that Talib might be a cap causality due to the team wanting to make room to compete for Kirk Cousins. So, being able to trade Talib and get all of his contract off the books might mean a lot more to the Broncos. It seems too much of a coincidence that the Broncos would be in talks with the 'skins for Cravens, and then report on possibly trading Talib.

If we keep Breeland , we don't need Talib. Dunbar has also proven to be a good CB.

If we get a 2nd rounder for Cravens I'll jump out of my chair laughing. Not happening

Cravens is too slow to be a safety and not big enough for a LB, I just don't see him getting much attention. Plus the Off the field stuff can't help our cause. I'd say a 4th at best but hell if we can get a 3 or 2 that's on the Broncos

In what world is he too slow to be a Safety? Too small for a full time LB, absolutely, but he isn't too slow to be a safety, especially one that is a in the box SS

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Did u see my man in his rookie yr? He was toast

Maybe that is because he was more lost than slow but he had some bad plays out there. He may be like a Deone Bucannon type player, he started at S but moved to hybrid LB.

Cravens, Apple, Talib? Are you guys putting together an All Head Case/Locker Room Cancer Team? "Hell no!" to all of them!

Now, Tyrann Mathews is another story. He might be a bit, shall we say, unusual but he is a player with great instincts who makes big plays and creates turnovers. I'd sign him in an instant.

I'm indifferent with Talib or Apple. I was just trying to connect the dots on the talks between the 'skins and Broncos. I would much rather take Mathews over the other two any day.

Well, I'm not! I don't want those shit birds on my team. I see no reason to take Denver's trash in a Cravens deal. We should just take a draft pick for Cravens and chuckle to ourselves all the way home.

As I was saying, I'm in different with those two, meaning, I don't care either way as long as they don't command a huge contract. BUT, I would offer more to Mathews, of course.

Yeah dude is little bit of a head case, n a really good way. You can just tell that the while team feeds off of his energy and he looks like so much fun to play with. Mathieu, Norman, and Swearinger all have the right mix of swag, talent, smarts and preparation, and heart. This secondary would have a complete identity and it would be an excellent environment for the young guys to develop in.

There is no defensive FA thus year that I want more. Also, he's so versatile that he will help with depth all around the secondary.

I wonder if the Cards will tag him? Or have they said no?
