Well we got a lot of fixin to do. 9 picks and a ton of cap room is a good start though. Upgrade the oline, te, secondary, edge, and lb corp.
Looks like we got a Kicker in Slye. Ill eat crow on that one. Lol.

Howell, wr’s, backs are solid. DT’s obviously solid. Kurl, Davis.

Hitting on the first 3 picks is an absolute must have.

I still don’t trust Slye, he kills you sometimes at the wrong times.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread

Speaking of the need for a real GM, here are the players we could have had in the first 3 rounds of the 2023 draft if RR had his mind right when we picked:

Round 1 - Christian Gonzales, CB Oregon
Round 2 - O'Cyrus Torrence, OG Florida
Round 3 - Dawand Jones, OT Ohio State

All three of these players filled obvious needs and started for their NFL teams this season. And they all played very well.

Know this, these were not my picks in hindsight and I'm not trying to show you how smart I am. The point is that these players fit our needs so perfectly that even a dumb shit like me could see it. How much would these players have helped us this year and in the future? Case closed on RR the GM. He must go prior to the next FA period and draft.

Yea We had obvious glaring needs and we took an underweight skinny CB who’s skill set was jumping routes ?? We all know the gamble with that .. yea you might get a pick or give up Six … this ain’t college ball .wow Ron has wasted so much .. the league is designed for bad teams to get better ..

I have seen several people advocating Bill Belichick for our new head coach. Since Tom Brady left New England, his record is 26 - 29. That isn't much, if any, better than Rivera's, I sincerely hope that Belichick doesn't come to Washington. It will be just more wasted years on a has been coach.

Overall, without Brady he is 80-93 in the regular season.

GOAT my arse.

That title belongs to our very own Joe Gibbs.

BB is too old to be our next HC. Get some fresh, exciting blood in there, for the fresh new start.

I think BB is just being linked by journalists because he is (or should be) on the hot seat in NE. Go young with a guy like McVay, McDaniel etc. Hungry and innovative not old and predictable. I suspect Harris is smart enough to bring in a good GM and let that guy find the right candidate. He brought in Shen and immediately he had a good influence on the trades (reportedly).

I stand corrected. You are right. He is not the super coach everyone believes he is without Brady.

Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread

It isn’t just about a quarterback. Gibbs did have an all pro oline, wr’s, rb’s, cornerback, and several other defenders. Thank you Bobby Beathard. Gibbs is every bit a great HC as anyone, but it isn’t just about a QB. Everyone still discounting his influence on those great Giant teams. He was absolutely as responsible if not more responsible as Parcells. BB is the best defensive mind in NFL history.

Literally every great HC ever had numerous great players. GM is sooooo important. Maybe more important.

This is a reasonable argument, age. That is the only reasonable argument. How much desire does he have left? But he would instantly bring credibility and make our D better. Would still need the right OC.

I like all of these, though McCown needs more experience before becoming a HC imho.

All those team with great QB’s had complete solid rosters top to bottom too and yes a QB makes a big difference unless you are Joe Gibbs.
