Yeah I think that hammy is gonna be a problem all year. Tate looks like he can take the job and run with it.

Went 4-1 in my fantasy leagues this week....but the one loss was the most important, the pay league.

I have CJ and Ringer on the bench...I might actually have to start playing Ringer more...unless CP signs there and just screws everything up

Ah yes, I never was burned for taking the #1 ranked RB, but here's the secret:
Whoever was a #1 RB last year WILL NOT BE THE #1 RB the next year. I'm just glad Foster(and Rodgers) won me some Yahoo! casual leagues last year. MWAHAHAHAHAHA

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

Probably my best team:

QB: Grossman
WR: Djax
WR: Santonio Holmes
WR: AJ Green
RB : McFadden
RB: McCoy
TE: Hernandez
BN: Reggie Wayne
BN: Hightower
BN: Lee Evans(dropping for Fred Davis)
BN: Sproles
BN: Mathews
BN: Jacobs
K: Rackers
D: Green Bay

I went into the draft ADAMANT about not picking a QB early. It was going to be RB, RB, WR, WR, WR for the first five picks. The result: probably my best draft ever.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

Alright so I got OZ raped on my Drew Brees deal but this is my new squad

QB: Phillip Rivers, Rex Grossman
RB: Michael Turner (Brees Deal), Willis McGahee (Brees Deal), Ahmad Bradshaw, BenJarvis Green- Ellis
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Devery Henderson, Sindey Rice, Mike Thomas, Roy Williams, Antonio Brown
TE: Owen Daniels
LB: Jerod Mayo, Curtis Lofton, Jonathan Vilma
DL: Charles Johnson
DB: Tyvon Branch, Jonothan Joseph
K: Billy Cundiff

I've got to dump some of these receivers. I'm first on my leagues waiver wire so I'm trying to decide who to pick up.

The Black Dynamites are 1-1 right now !

Jahvid, because he's a great receiving threat too, and Arizona and seattle are both familiar with one another so you're going to see less runs, and long runs aswell.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

Seattle is coughing up a 3.1 avg while Minny has a 4.0 average against the run. That said, both Ds have coughed up 3 touchdowns so far this season.

-------------------------------------------

General advice for the masses. DO NOT start any RB against San Francisco. You should have known this last year, but they are STIFLING against the run.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

Its wierd how Ochocinco has done zero in that offense. I stayed away from him, but i expecting a pretty decent season. Welker 16 catches was amazing.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football Thread

I'm not surprised by 85. There are too many pieces in that offense and other than Welker, Brady never has a favorite target, he'll throw to anyone and everyone. We know Welker will get his catches, so with Branch, Ochocinco, Edelman, the 2 TEs, the RBBC and whomever else they throw on the field, there aren't enough catches for anyone else to be a relevant fantasy player, at least consistently.
