If you are going to be a douche bag, don't bother posting. It wasn't some knee jerk reaction. I stated why I think they need to consider Beck. His mobility is much better than Grossman's. I don't care who starts, but it's obvious that Rex didn't get it done tonight, nor did he really do squat last week either.

On the last drive you could blame Banks for not simply downing the ball in the endzone to give them a few more seconds plus the ball at the 20. Blame Brown for false starting.

Blame K.Shanahan for not using more roll outs to give Grossman more time. Not calling more screen plays to beat the rush. I don't think I saw one slant. which would have gotten the ball beyond the LB's and DL.

But instead it's easier to blame Grossman. Beck would not have been better. McNabb would have walked up to the LOS everytime eating up the clock or he would have wanted to huddle.

I'm not saying Grossman is Dan Morino I'm just saying he's our best option right now. This game was a piss poor game plan from the start. They should have used screens everytime the defense rushed to slow them down and or used slants to Moss. Did they ever say what happened to Armstrong? after the half he came out with out pads and stayed out of the game.
Hmmm... let's see. Boneheaded interception. Tossing up another one that is picked except for Moss playing DB. Shit decision making, leading Moss right into a kill shot. Zero zip on his passes to the outside and general lack of accuracy. Dropping the ball every time he gets sacked. Athleticism of your average donut. Shit field awareness..... do I need to go on?

Everyone else was practically invisible.

Our redzone offense? I mean seriously, it has to be the biggest joke on this team outside our inconsistency at QB. It's like we might as well just throw the ball up in the air and see who comes up with it once we're at the 20 yard line.

If we stop them on that ****ing 3rd and 21, it's more than likely they punt or turn it over on downs. Instead, Haslett thinks that Dallas is more stupid than the Madden AI from 10 years ago and calls THREE STRAIGHT Cover-0 blitzes in a ****ing row. DUDE, remember last week? Hall got burnt on that Cover-0 to Fitz. Hall SUCKS in Cover-0. And the same playcall three times in a row? Hell, no one does that. NO ONE.

I dunno if Beck would do much better. He's backup fodder as well. We have no one capable of being a starter or a leader of this team offensively right now.

Moss. Starter and a leader.
Hightower is a good starter.

That's about it.

truth. no matter what we do this year, it would have been better with a legit starter.

Let's talk about another special teams blunder. When is Danny Smith going to be fired? Play after play after play each week. It's always something.

Yeah, no kidding. Cowboys gave the 'Skins plenty of opportunities. Bad snaps, receivers just signed off the street, turnovers and a banged up QB.

Absolutely baffling how every single fumble but one gets recovered by them. Our fumbles fall into their hands when it matters.

What did we improve on this week? D played pretty well, but the Cowboys found a way to generate yds on the ground in the 2nd half which they hadn't done for 10 previous quarters. I'm pretty sure when I look at the game again, I'll see several one-on-one match-ups lost by the OL, QB play hasn't improved, O-playcalling was worse than last week. All this against a very banged up and inexperienced team that made several mistakes.

I'm not feeling good at all about this game.

Re: Redskins vs Cowboys Gameday Thread

A lot of people are acting like it's the end of the world. In my opinion the redskins played a good game considering they were playing in enemy territory. Wilson, Williams, Kerrigan, Fletcher, Rocky, Atogwe, Landry, Gano, had pretty solid games. I think this loss will make the redskins stronger and the media knows they aren't the shitty team they expected it to be.

Yeah, leading our team down by 8 doesn't mean anything.. He didn't do anything last week.

I understand your frustrated, but what would Beck do tonight that Rex didn't? The play call was average on both sides of the football. WR's were not open, and the 3rd and 21 blitz call was an awful play call against a team that has limited options at WR.

In reality we basically have 2 WR's that are possesion WR's and a deep threat at TE who got locked down tonight.

I'm not being a douche bag, i'm being a realist, but you calling for the backup QB when we are 2-1 is just being a dumb shit, and that's my opinion..
