Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Im very excited about the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie and the entire trilogy.
But its going to hard to top my number one Scandinavian movie trilogy: Pusher (1996) Pusher II (2004) Pusher III (2005) Pusher trilogy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia if anyone likes foreign films about the criminal underground in Europe...I strongly suggest these.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
i love you man and the hills have eyes were very bad, 2 out of 5 for both. you wanna know how redbox makes money?people like me rent the movie a buck a night on friday thinking theyll watch it that night but then sunday rolls around, then monday then maybe they watch it tuesday.
im watching the new true grit tuesday night. really liked the original. if i had more beers id watch it tonight . i might actually walk up the street and get a six. honest question. anyone else ever say to their lady "hey wanna get a movie from redtube tonight?" then she says "ya mean that porn website that keeps popping up on our computer? no."

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
Anyone see Paranormal Activity 3 yet? It's rated R, so I'm kinda excited for that seeing as the first 2 were PG 13. Probably gonna go see it on my birthday next week.

Anyways, to get back on point, I saw True Grit a while back with some company, and it wasn't that bad. I'd recommend it. Matt Damon played a really good role and I'm always partial to Jeff Bridges since I saw the Big Lebowski. As for I Love You Man, it was okay. Not a "must see" but I'd watch it again.

Watched Incendies last night. What a movie...definitely worth watching if you're tired of the same Hollywood garbage.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
I liked the intro... kinda reminded me of the Full Metal Jacket intro, except with kids.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
This is probably the nuttiest flick I've seen this year. Lucky McKee is keeping the American horror genre in the game.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread
JAck Ketchum is a very very strange writer. Watch/read The Girl Next Door, the guy is twisted with what comes out of his mind. He makes Stephen King look like Walt Disney.

I just copped "The Offspring" which is supposed to be part of a trilogy that ends with "The Woman." McKee also made a really good flick with Bettis (the wife in The Woman) called "May." Last edited by itvnetop; 10-27-2011 at 10:18 PM. |
