It has nothing to do w/ Turner. Doubt Seattle would trade him to an NFC team. Denver was the perfect place for him. Offense HC w/ some good young wr's.

Seattle is in rebuild mode and was probably going to lose him in 2 years once his contract was up. They did get a lot back.

Washington offered Seattle draft picks across three years — 2022, 2023, 2024 — to try to acquire Russell Wilson, but it became clear that the Seahawks preferred an AFC team, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
Per Rap Sheet

“Wilson chose Denver over Washington “

I am just ordering my Mitch T Commanders jersey now.

Any one want do a 2023 mock draft? We should be picking fairly high in that one too.

Per @AlbertBreer

Washington offered high picks in the next three drafts to the Seahawks for QB Russell Wilson, per sources. But it became apparent to the Commanders that Seattle preferred to trade him out of the NFC.

So Washington's QB hunt continues.

I actually think Washington should trade down from #11 and acquire picks for 2023. If a QB is not available.

If they really like someone like Willis, they better be trading up.

I really never understood that reasoning. Andy Reid said F it to that and raped Washington for McNabb

I can see the issue between cowboys and redskins red sox and yankees etc...but Seattle and Washington; come on

I promise you no one is itching to come here.

Agreed.

I could be wrong, but I highly doubt Watson will be traded until right before the draft. I believe there something going on with his case on April 1st. But right now unless a team REALLY wants to risk it, no trade will happen.

i tend to agree stronger QB class next year. I do that and take a swing at Ridder in the 2nd round.

The big difference is Reid knew McNabb was washed up.

Seattle isn't interested in RW coming back to haunt them come playoff time. Why risk that if you can ship him out of the conference? Plus I'm very sure Seattle did him a solid and took his team of choice in consideration. Sounds like he wanted to stay out west just going by some of the things he's said recently.
