re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
Yeah, i did. I think it's ridiculously over priced at ~ $15. What is it, like 4-5 maps, and 2 of those are recycled from the first COD MW. Knew all of that going in though, didn't have a choice, Bad Company was so horrible....

Ok thanks. BTW Xbox needs to get away from the point system it is so dumb and is just a money maker for them (which probably keeps it going). IT may cost $15 for those maps put you really have to shell out $20 to get enough points. At least PS3 just has a straight up price, no gimmicks. Plus is Xbox live free now?

And I appear to be in the minority on this in regards to this thread, but I think Battlefield is leaps and bounds better than the glitchy kid infested game that Call of Duty has unfortunately become. Destructable buildings to eliminate campers, squads prevent me from being subjected to constant whining and trashing talking, and a balanced combat system that rewards you for working well with your teammates.

Nah, I don't like putting my money on chance. But, like I said they knew what they were doing buy making it feel less like an actual monetary system once your money is converted to points. In a way I see it kind of like credit cards for some people. They don't see it as their actual money being spent until they start getting their bills with 20% interest.

I've been playing the new Medal of Honor, if you don't have it already don't bother. Wait for Black Ops instead.

Picked up MoH last night. I haven't touched campaign mode, strictly a multiplayer time killer til Black Ops comes out.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
I'm having some fun playing the single player so far, but it's just a COD type of feel. Nothing new. The multi-player didn't do anything for me.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
There are a couple times the single player has the frame rate drop so badly that it's almost unplayable so I've already gotten rid of it. I wasn't expecting the best game ever but I didn't expect it to be that bad.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
People rave about the DICE engine, but I don't get it. Bad Company 2 was so bad and now many are complaining about this one.

re: New Games on the Horizon (the video game thread)
The crazy thing is I really enjoyed bad company 2 but this game felt rushed and unpolished.
