No...Cowboys are stoppable. Go back and look at the GB game. Didn't GB held them to like 3 points the whole first half. Dallas's machine didn't kick in until like late 3rd quarter. That was only because GB could not fend off the Dallas rush and get a first down now and then to spell the defense long enough. I'm not impressed with Philli and the Steelers have not looked like the SB Steelers since they hired their new coach. I'm betting our D creates more 3 and outs for Dallas causing their D to be exausted by half time. I think even though we have had a bad time running...I'm betting Zorn figures out how to get Portis the ball for long gains. |

Re: Predictions: Redskins @ Cowboys
Wow, 28 people who come to this sight and talk skins football could bring themself to pick the Cowboys. Ok, maybe its a little less because we do have a few fans from other teams. I couldn't pick the Cowboys even if our entire line of starters where out due to injury. How do you talk smack while picking the other team to win?

Re: Predictions: Redskins @ Cowboys
if Blanche payed attention in the 2nd half of igles cowboys we should have Owens covered aight with springs playing physical press while landry spots owens if he breaks away. bring Rocky with the blitz, overload with carter and keep an eye on little miss romo well be aight.

Re: Predictions: Redskins @ Cowboys
I know I said earlier that the Cowboys would not cover the 11.5 spread, but I am recanting that prediction and will predict:
Cowboys- 34 Redskins - 17 |

I don't understand it either. It would be like the Pope showing up for mass wearing a Marilyn Manson shirt. These "fans" of the Redskins should just go live in a cave with some bears, they're a disgrace.

Sure sure. This is DALLAS WEEK. If you can't get excited and have faith that we'll beat them, Chief Zee should whack you with his hatchet. Being a Redskins fan means HATING DALLAS. Sorry if you missed the memo. This week is about passion for the Redskins, not looking at polls and articles and making an "informed" pick about the outcome. This matchup always throws all stats and records out the window when it happens. We beat them when they're proclaimed better and it's happened to us too, remember who the 1-15 Dallas team had their only win against? 19 years later and that one still hurts. It's Redskins or nothing this week (if you're a real fan).

I guess we all could be homers also and say the Skins are going to win but that would lead to a dull web site and you would have no one to argue with. Some of us prefer to use are brain and be a little subjective about each game and analyze how we could win or lose the game. If your refering to the poll done ...I'm a homer. I picked Skins. I always will. but to analyze the game I'm only being honest with myself as well as the rest of the people on this board. As far as Sandtraps second oppinion of the outcome....I for one don't see it. Unless we lay down like dogs I don't see it. We have the better defense, but we can be beat (look at the Giants game). Our coach (Zorn) is finding ways to get people in the open and put new wrinkles in each game...enough to make Dallas say "I wonder what he will throw at us this week." It's not a fluke that we beat the team with the best Offense last week. All we have to do is make sure our offense keeps the ball and use up most of the clock hopefully causing their D to get tired fast. Our D needs to keep creating more 3 and outs for us. |
