Re: Sean Taylor has died...
Yeah the reality of it hasn't quite set in for me yet either. I just can't wrap my brain around this.

Saw it on espn first thing this morning... I literally was crying into my coffee. His star was way too bright to go out so early....

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I heard a local TV station say it first, and then when I couldn't find it on ESPN or CNN I thought it had to be a mistake. I just remember going to sleep last night thinking, he's young and a superb athlete, if anyone can pull through, he will. Damn it.

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
I just keep thinking that he was only 24. That's just too damn young. 24 freaking years old.

Sympathies to all the Skins fans here and Sean's family friends and the Redskin team from a Steelers fan. Even in Pittsburgh we're in shock.

Re: Sean Taylor has died...
The last time something like this happened, I was a little kid, and Len Bias passed away. And here's another young man who probably would have gone on to become a legendary player, cut down in his prime.
Rest in Peace, Sean. Speaking as a father and husband, there isn't any way a man would rather die than protecting his family from harm. He may not have always lived his life like a saint, but he was a genuine man who earned all the respect and rewards he got, and was working to be a better person, father, husband, player. What more can anyone ask of another human being?
