Take Vincent if he has the speed, or Rogers if Knight starts or Knight is Rogers starts, and move them to FS.

CB - Spring
CB - Roger/Knight
SS - Taylor
FS - Knight/Rogers

Then you have Ruff, and Vincent for dime and nickel packages.

DE-Wynn - Carter on 3rd or rushing downs
DT-Grif
DT-Salava
DE-Daniels

LB - Marcus
LB - Marshall
LB - McIntosh/Campbell

You could even line up Taylor as an LB and bring in Adam on all out blitz packages. Offenses would be freaked seeing that line up.

This defensive line up feels a lot better to me then what we have seen.

knight? do you mean wright? rogers wont be playing safety i dont think

The Redskins defensive scheme is in complete disarray right now. Maybe it is because Springs is out, Clark & Stoudtmire are gone, Prieleau is on the shelf etc. But this defense is a shell of it's former self ('05, '04).

why doesnt anyone remember walt harris.

I think Roy Williams is overrated. He can't cover as well as Taylor. In fact he can't cover at all. He's the one who always seems to get burned. Maybe they should move him to outside backer. The only thing Roy Williams will be known for is that damn "horse collar" tackle that's never called! Sean Taylor is the best safety in the league. It's gonna be hell to pay when it's time to resign him!

But, you just don't make any ......... sense.

There is enough racism out there that you don't need to make stuff up. And, unfortunately, when you do call people racist for no reason, that makes you part of the problem.

Harris is having a great season in San Fran, but he was marginal here. He was great at missing tackles, though, which seems to have spread to the rest of the team.

Has anyone on this site denied that racism exists? I didn't think so, so quit making things up.

You have NO basis for saying that ANYONE on this site is racist. You have shown no link at all between saying Vick is overrated and racism. Prior to this season, many on this site said Urlacher was overrated but you didn't see people lashing out and saying "yall blackboys are racist."

Oh, and you're not exactly endearing yourself to people when you tell everyone that ass kissing is our business. If ass kissing is our business, then making ignorant and unsupported allegations are yours.

Come on guys, drop it. I just came over here from the Extreme Skins site in hopes that I would find a more mature crowd. At least let me live in my dream world for a day.

Last I checked people come here to talk about the Skins, not racism.

You are correct sir. We are here to talk about the Redskins and, more generally, professional football. But this site has a ZERO tolerance policy for racist statements. Accordingly, we take allegations of racism very seriously. I wish we didn't have to address the issue, but BMF21 has forced our hands.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Drop it and move on or stand to lose any posting privileges. We're not going to go into this issue anymore - it's a total waste of time.

Oh come on man, Vick can't hold McNabb's jock strap let alone be on the same level as Manning. No doubt Vick is talented, mostly with his feet, but he can't throw for shit 50% of the time. That my friend is reality. There are at least 8 QBs I would take before Vick simply because they can throw, and throw accurately. Also keep in mind the longevity of a running back in the NFL...it's not pretty. A running QB's shelf life is much shorter than a pocket QB. Plus, why the hell would I want Payton Manning to become a better Athlete? Who the hell in their right mind would want Manning running around?

As for basketball, well, 31% all players drafted last year have been international players. Those white boys in Easter European ghettos are playing b-ball too. Granted they won't be flying high and jamming from sky high but they know how to play. They can shoot, they can dribble, and they know the Xs and Os. Why do you think they beat those "super star" NBA ballers in the Olympics and the World Championships?

This isn't a black and white thing...It's about talent. If you can play you get a contract. Race will always be an issue to some extent but I think Martin Luther King's dream is being realized now more so than ever. More and more teams are looking into a player's character than the color of their Skin. Not too many people wants a highly talented asshole on their team whether he is black or white.

Re: Are 21 and 31 over-rated?

Vick has looked great the last few days, but I want to see this consistantly from him before I buy in that his arm is better. I was a huge Vick fan when he went to tech, and really hoped he'd transition to the pros. If I want to see exciting, I put Vick in a class with Barry Sanders, but if I'm choosing a QB for my team, I'm picking passing over scrambles. Someone with enough to keep the play alive, but with an arm!

Re: Are 21 and 31 over-rated?

Vick always has spurs of brilliance like this, and then he runs into a defensive scheme he can't handle, and suddenly he spirals downward. He's very fun to watch, but if the atlanta D wasnt so solid every year, they would never make the playoffs.
