Agreed on both counts.

Funny you should say this SS. Eddie George was talking about how McNair was trying to fill a void in his life after football. Obviously this isn't the way to do it, but he said life after football is a lot harder then people realize. As for the other, other woman, that could have been all in that girls head.

When did he say that? It's not an uncommon problem with athletes. I was just talking to an ex-NFL'er the other day (not Eddie George) who saying that exact thing. That some players have a hard time adjusting to it, and preparing for it. I mean at 33 I feel like my career and, in many ways my life, is just starting. If I were a pro athlete I'd probably be considered past my prime at this point. That can be a tough thing to deal with.

I saw it yesterday. It was either ESPN or COMCAST I think. It may even have been CNN. I was channel surfing.

Definitely. Plus you have the competitive spirit which drove your career, a spirit which now lacks an outlet. And, for the vain, you are not as much of the hot-shot celebrity that you used to be.

Who knows, maybe he was a serial cheater or this could have been a one time thing. Funny how people love to think the worst though.
That's kinda where I was going with my earlier post.

Toying around with a 20yr old girl's feeling's is asking for trouble especially when you have created a cerain lifestyle for her then threaten to take it away. In all respect to McNair but: "Mama told you not to play with fire. Fire burn u"

Re: Steve McNair found shot to death!

[quote=Paintrain;566925]Well, I wasn't saying it specifically to McNair (although the rumor mill is rife with his exploits) more so asking in general. I used to work with a guy who was married but cheated all the time. I asked him why did he cheat, he said he loved his wife but he loved pu**y more. So I asked why did he bother to get married and he couldn't really come up with an answer other than he thought it was the thing to do.

I get the wanting to have a kid thing, but you can be a good father without being married to the mother.[/quote

I've seen many of my married friends fool around on their wives numerous times and I ask them the same thing. Why get married?
