Re: Around the NFL Week 1
So I'm watching the Cards @ Niners game, and I couldn't resist to share this play with you guys, another example of how bad Jordan Reed is at run blocking, the guy doesn't even try... Watch the motion guy #81, that's Reed, (just thought it was funny to see him whiff for another team, I hope he stays healthy) :

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Finished Cards @ Niners.
On one hand I feel more confident in our chances than I was before watching it: the Cards' offense wasn't as impressive as I expected, if you contain Murray you're good. He was under duress all game. Niners' DL is good but guess what, so is ours. So I'm less worried about handling Hopkins and Fitzgerald than I was. (Their game winning drive was just a couple of scrambles by Murray and a blown coverage on Hopkins.) On the other hand... their D is legit ! Garoppolo was under pressure a LOT, and coverage was legit good. Scott Turner is gonna have to come with a plan, scheme some short passes and find a way to run the ball !

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
I do think AZ will be a much tougher test for this defense, mostly because they can and will run the ball, unlike Philly.
The offense has to get it going this week, they can't rely on short fields every week (but I hope it IS a trend). I think the offense will do alright though. I don't see the AZ defense as better than the Eagles D. |

Arizona oline is pretty average as well. One thing that scares me is the receiving group...those guys can play and we have Apke in centerfield who a huge liability

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
How bout that 1st Place Washington Football Team!!
Only took Rivera 1 game to get us in sole possession of 1st place. Rivera went down 17-0 just to exact revenge from last year. Ultimate troll job. Just wish I got the memo.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Jones reminds me of a young Cousins. He makes plays and moves the offense but you know the back breaking turnover is coming.

ESPN 30 for 30, what if I told you...... The team with no name, medi qb & no running game would score more points than the star studded Dallas Cowboys

Around the NFL Week 1
Quote:
The AZ defense is fast - not as strong as the beefy guys Philly puts up front. But the AZ defenders were flying to the ball yesterday. The game plan to counter that will be key - misdirection and motion will be important. Murray is a better runner than Wentz, and so we will need to keep him in check. They just beat the NCF champs at home, so they’re definitely legit. This will be a very big test for us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
