Drops happen and the fumble was unfortunate, It killed the offense in the second half.
no excuse for the D to give up scoring drives like that.

Not trying to tie the game was a blunder considering how shaky they were playing at that point.

Chase Young.. buddy I wish the best for you but you weren’t hustling past your initial move. You’re a one pump chump.

A great comeback by the Niners. There shouldn't be any questions about Purdy after that. The 2 Reynolds' drops were a killer. Way too aggressive by Campbell down 3 to go for it on 4th down. You must take the tie there. Chiefs-49ers should be good. Funny how the Chiefs enter a lot of these big playoff games as slight underdogs and win. Reid/Spags/Mahomes/Kelce is damn tough to beat. Purdy will have to play very well for them to do it.

Re: Conference Championships - Around the NFL

I feel sorry for the Lions fans. So close and yet so far.
I feel sorry for Goff and probably LaPorta, Montgomery and Gibbs. Did everything they could to get them there.
I don't feel sorry for Campbell. The great coaches adjust for the playoffs. You can't gamble like that when your whole season is on the line. Yeah, FG isn't a given, but its the momentum shift to consider. FG in the 1st half and there change the complexion of the game completely.

Lions were trying to emulate the Chiefs, and in the end they just emulated their receivers.

I think we all noticed this. Is he playing injured? Because the hustle isn't there. I don't even know if they are gonna make him an offer in the offseason. He's that bad out there.

I feel bad for the Lions, but their problems were self-inflicted. I think we're all in agreement Dan Campbell should've gone for the tie when they were down 3 instead of going for it on 4th down. His aggressiveness burned them.

It's ok sometimes to kick a FG. Campbell needs to find a little balance in being aggressive yet being smart.

I kept telling my friends this week never bet against Mahomes.

Preach. I don't know if they'll make it back there next year, everybody is gonna be gunning for them. But it was a good learning experience for Campbell and the team. I generally prefer being aggressive but you gotta be smart too.

Todd Monken called an awful game. 16 total rushes versus the a below average run defense. He played right into KCs strengths. Gus Edwards getting three touches should be grounds for being hung in effigy.

Fuck Campbell and Reynolds. Won't even be watching the Super Bowl this year. I don't want either of the 2 teams to win. Football season is over until the real Super Bowl, the 2024 NFL Draft.

Reynolds is a FA, Would not be surprised if BJ brought him on board

He's been so good all year long but I agree, he did not call a real good game.

Re: Conference Championships - Around the NFL

The ravens have had a history of bad offense in the playoffs. The only time they were actually putting up points was with flacco that SB yr
