Who wants a call at 7 a.m.? I certainly don't.

Phones are an addiction.
I used to work with this woman who would come into the office every morning on her cell phone yappin' away, she would sit down at her desk and continue to yap for another 10-15 minutes.

What I don't get is some of my co-workers will start making calls first thing in the morning at 8am, I'm like hot damn I'd be pissed if some insurance company called me that early. I always wait til after 9am to start making calls.

They ALL seem to do that...and enter crosswalks without even looking up!

I guess they're all so desperate for someone to call after waking up that they don't mind receiving those early calls...but seriously...don't talk to me before my third cup of coffee. I guess this is how they coordinate wearing matching clothes to the office. See Post #1223 in this thread.

Hey... I'd be happy if people around here used the crosswalk, let alone following the cross/don't cross sign.

On another topic, holiday cards with glitter on them. Got a few today, and I look like a damn stripper I have so much glitter on me.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

this morning this guy walking down the stairs behind me in the parking garage, rushed right past me. he had a stack of papers, not a neat stack, but a stack, he was doing something on his phone, he dropped his keys in the middle of the walkway, picked them up, dropped them again couple steps later. then i realized he had dropped that stack of papers

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Ha, our daughter grabbed a tree skirt with glitter on it and crawled all the way down the hallway (newly-installed wood flooring too) and the whole hallway was sparkly. We still haven't been able to get it all up. Oh well, at least it wasn't still carpeted like it was until earlier this year when I ripped it out.

The tree skirt is now plain white. Don't know when or how she did it, but the whole hallway looks like a strip club. I almost wish she had taken it into the bedroom...I'd put up a pole and get the wife drunk. Maybe the glitter would inspire her.

Yeah, wait until you guys get old...you're be like this too.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

One of my neighbors left their trash can out overnight for today's pickup and some animals got into it. I walked outside this morning to the beautiful site of garbage strewn all over our neighborhood.

I'll be interested to see if he picks it all up by the time I get home tonight. If not someone is getting a knock on their door.

LOL!

My dad pulled that once. He put the trash out the night before because they were going on vacation the day before the trash pick up. Well I went over there the next day and trash was everywhere. I took pictures and texted them to him. I told him the police had looked up his last name then saw mine listed in the same town. So they called me and asked if I was related and if I know about all this trash out front. He called me flipping out and told me to hurry up and pick it up.

I nearly peed myself when he called i was holding in my laugh so bad.

There's lids, but people often stuff them so full that the lid doesn't really matter. Or the animals just knock the can over.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

The fact that Dick's, Sports Authority and every other fricking sports outlet in Baltimore City does not carry the most popular selling jersey in the country. Impossible to get Redskins gear here everything is that gawdawful purple crap.

Trying to find an RGIII jersey for my wife between now and Christmas. Probably going to have to drive to Annapolis to get one!

check for promotions on redskins shop, nfl shop, and nike store. they should be offering free shipping now, and you may even get to skip the sales tax.

if you don't find it in store, try on the jerseys in store, so you know which type/size to order online.

There was a story on the news that there is a shortage of them this holiday season. I don't think its a Baltimore problem, it may be a nation wide problem.

No. It is a Baltimore issue. I spoke to the managers. They do not sell Skins gear in Baltimore. Period. It wasn't just the jersey - no T-shirts, sweat shirts, keychains. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
