Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Getting Rid of Bruce Allen might be a small part of the solution to giving some life back to the Redskins organization, but to save the Redskins organization must be rid of Dan Snyder.
Redskins Front Office actually kind of reminds me of the characters from the 1987 movie The Lost Boys... The Redskins Front Office is a gang of Vampires Bruce Allen is David the Lead Vampire (Kiefer Southerland) Dan Synder is Max the Dark Over Lord Vampire (Ed Herrmann) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093437/

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Wow, this is a terrible job even compared to just our history, no other teams included.
Dan Snyder, go fuck yourself you piece of shit. I fucking hate you as a human being. You suck. Turned a great franchise into the laughing stock of professional sports. FUCK YOU!!

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
The only thing I’m excited about this off season is the draft. I have mixed emotions about it. But we have done fairly well the last couple years with our early picks. Even though the 19 season will be a wash the draft can atleast (hopefully) be a bright spot for the future.
Also in my naiveness I’m still holding out a little hope that Dumb A$$ Dan has some kinda big picture plan for the future that were just not seeing yet. One can dream atleast |

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
We all want change. We all want a culture change. The status quo just flat out hasn't been working, injuries or not. I do not have faith in Manuaky as a DC, at all. I have a tad more faith in Jay, if he gets help with playcalling and the offense in general. The biggest, and i mean BIGGEST concern here, is that the coaches have lost the locker room. And that's been apparent. We can sit here and say hey we almost had a chance if Alex didn't go down etc etc etc .... But if the guys don't wanna play here and don't respect the coaches, we're fucked. We're in a shitty situation, also apparent. But if the coaches (if they're all still here) through the off-season / mini camp / training camp can win back the players? We might just be mediocre again, instead of a dumpster fire. The only thing I can personally do now is just avoid giving this shit show too much more of my head space and emotion. Fuck the owner and management, I hope the coaches and players right the ship inspite of those fucking clowns. Maybe a good off-season can bring some cohesion and we'll see a team that gives a shit, maybe not. But here's to hoping.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
I've been digesting all that happened, or rather didn't happen, the last couple of weeks.
And, while I've pretty much lost any hope and excitement for next season itself, I'm beginning to think it may very well be for the best on the long run. Sounds crazy, I know, but hear me out. I want change. Allen has made some shitty decisions, Jay is not a good leader, Manusky lost a talented defensive locker room... We won't win with these guys. But, as many said, we need a whole culture change, this organisation has become toxic, no talented coach wants to come here right now. From a timing standpoint, we're not in position to clean house now. Which good HC would want to come here now, with the QB/cap situation that we're in ? Which good DC would want to come here now, knowing Jay is probably gone next year or the year after that? Whereas if you wait one season, you'll be in a much better QB/cap situation (either Alex is healthy and playing well, either you cut him post June 1st 2020, taking a 16M cap hit over 3 years and saving 56M over 3 years, net saving of 40M), and most importantly it sends a message that Dan Snyder is not going to fire everybody after 2 seasons anymore. If we have a good offseason this year, then next year, a good HC can think "Heck, Jay Gruden was allowed 6 seasons, he didn't win a lot, but they gave him a chance. I think I can do better than him with this roster, this defense is young and talented, they've drafted well the past few years, building from the trenches, they have a young stud at RB... I think if I'm given a fair opportunity I could bring this team to the next level." Next season is going to be deflating and frustrating, but I still think on the long run it's not as bad as it feels right now.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
We will all eventually desperately cling to the notion that we were 6-3 until we got ravaged by injury. And Derrius Guice.
You're never as far away as you think. But still, this whole offseason does show how inept the front office is. Quality coaches need a reason to come coach for you. If your HC is going into his make or break year, then you as the assistant can't count on being there longer than a year. The notion that a front office can shape together a coaching staff is asinine. The reporting structure demands that the HC pick his staff, or the organization will dysfunction. If you don't like the assistant coaches that Jay has selected, then fire Jay. It should be his responsibility to pick the assistants, not the front office's.

At this point, we should keep who we got in place and extend Tomsula. Go into the year with same guys...see if we can make some noise and if not, fire everyone next year. Set up the Org with brand new coaches and hopefully FO.

Not at your expense, but I had to google it up to make sure, and it's a common misspelling of "Apropos", from french "À propos", which can mean "speaking of which" or "right on point", depending on context. Again, not mocking anybody in particular but it sounds (and in this instance looks) so funny when french words are used in english... Aprapoe sounds like a Native American first name, doesn't it?

Offense I don't believe in Jay Gruden's offense...the excuses for the passing game are stale. I truly don't believe he believes running the ball is the best course of action for the team...which is a failure as well. I would like whoever the O Cord is to take over playcalling from jay and have more input. If not, bring in a new consultant...Joe Deflippo, etc. to help run things Defense Simply put, Manusky hasn't gotten the best out the talent we have. We have decent positional coaches, that's not the problem. Our performance on 3rd down is terrible. I get angry when I see Kerrigan in coverage.
