Aiyuk at ASU Nebers and Thomas at LSU

If he pans out I see either a much much better version of Mariotta or a poor mans Lamar Jackson, but you gotta surround him with the right pieces.
I think his floor is a poor man's Jackson and his ceiling is a rich man's Jackson. He's a much more advanced passer than Jackson going into the draft. I'd be happy with him or Maye. Williams just doesn't do it for me. I like Penix too, but his injuries scare me. I'd take Penix in the 2nd though if he's available.

I'm just glad McLaurin is still exactly who I knew he was, a stud.

This is such a perfect post. I have no rebuttal. I love that dude. He's my new Gary Clark. And Gary Clark is why the Redskins/WFT/Commanders are my favorite team in the 1st place.

I'm not too far off from being a Packers fan either, because Sterling Sharpe was my 2nd favorite player. I played football from the age I was allowed to until the age I wasn't good enough, never played WR, but for some reason, they're always my favorite players.

Yeah he acted out on game day. Terry probably won't reach 1,000 yards this year but he's had his moments.

He only needs 165 yards over these last 3 games

Rivera said after the game that he would remain the starter.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread

This is a good test for Sam against a legit defense this week.

I hate to say it but it's been a month since Sam's last good game. The last 3 weeks have been miserable and Seattle was the last time he effectively moved the ball (but he still threw 3 picks).

If he keeps this up to finish the year it might not be much of a debate as to whether the next staff wants him.

Funny how everyone kept saying he wasn't getting open. Then Jacoby gets in there and all of a sudden Terry's open.

Sam has been playing subpar football the last month. His accuracy is off - he went 11/26 against the Rams before being benched. I can't tell if he's shell shocked from being sacked or if he doesn't trust his eyes but defenses have figured out how to play him.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread

He has definitely shown flashes, dropped some dimes, had some mad scramble plays - he's tough too. However, he hasn't closed the door on the 'do we draft a QB with our first pick' conversation. That's why it's important that he finish the season as the starter. I think I've seen enough to be ok with the new regime picking a QB in the 1st round though, either by staying put, trading up, or trading back. Everything's on the table.
