^ oh yeah...that sounds good. Shovels and Rope are solid, I gotta buddy he’s a big fan of that duo.

Neil young is a favorite...I’ve was spinning Live at Massey Hall 71 last week...that’s an alltimer...Neil’s voice is best I’ve ever heard and the production on a live album is second to none. Stellar recording.

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

I started listening to country music in 2001. When I first started listening, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney were 2 out of my 3 favorite singers/groups. The 3rd being Brooks and Dunn. Still love all 3 of them, but Tracy Lawrence was one of the old school country artist I learned to love. Still think he's awesome. Has a permanent place in my music top 25.

His Find Out Who Your Friends Are song, with him by himself is great. His mix with KC and TM is even better. 3 of my music icons on 1 great and true track.

Don't think you even have to love country to relate to this song.

On a depressing note, fuck me, time flies. Song came out in 2007. I've loved this song longer than I've been on The WP.

I think I might be the only country fan here. But I'll keep sharing. Riley Green is moving up my favorite artists list very quickly. Here's an acoustic version of him singing "Wish Grandpa's Never Died".

I like country, that was a good rendition.

Sometimes I have to take a few months off from country just because it all starts to sound the same. Plus my local station 103.7 out of HDG literally plays the same 10 songs all day.

Radio is great cause its free. But sounds like it's the same everywhere. We have 20000 songs to pick between, spanning multiple decades. But I have an idea, let's play the same 8 songs over and over.

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

Made a couple of vids for training to. Right now I do the treadmill to lose about 30 lbs., but trying to get back into triathlons after about 20 years out. (I'm 63 and a half.) I've combined several movies for images with an audio track made from songs I like. Some of the songs are

Back in the USSR
Hot Legs
Party Train
I Feel Love
Play that Funky Music
Walk Like an Egyptian
Long Cool Woman
Footloose
The Heat is On
Watermelon Crawl
Takin Care of Business
Opposites Attract
Cold-Hearted Snake
Livin la Vida Loca
Mambo Number 5
Your Mama Don't Dance
The Bitch is Back
Black or White
Joy to the World
Super Freak
Crocodile Rock
Hourglass
Addicted to Love
I Like It I Love It (funny)

I find they have a great beat for training. Then I have 3 different video tracks:
(1) The ones that came with them on youtube (where I extracted the audio)
(2) Good looking girls dancing (but not inappropriate if one of my 6 kids comes (ages 6-19) when I'm training) or
(3) Hill climbs of Tour de France.

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

Darius Rucker is so fucking talented. I'd listen to him sing Happy Birthday on repeat.

Specifically, listening to Don't Think I Don't Think About It, right now.

Legend.

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

Heard Kenny Chesney - We Went Out Last Night a few days ago. Just put it on right now so it qualified for the thread.

It was awesome because it took me back to great times in my life with my buddies I don't really get to see anymore (life changes, getting older, etc. - not COVID related).

On the other hand, during COVID, its kind of depressing, there is no where to go anymore lol.

Darius is definitely in my top 10 people still alive, I'd want to meet if I had the chance.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Under the Bridge

Haven't heard them in a long time. My normal stations were on commercial so got to the bottom of my saved stations.

Now I'm listening to them at good work. Nice to mix it up sometimes.
