Agreed. I don't understand how people can be so absent minded to just focus on one bad play. I can point out a number of starters who screwed up on this team today, yet no one says much about them. Doughty is a f*cking back up, and he plays like one. The guy made some good plays and some bad plays. So did a lot of back ups and starters on the team. Sheesh.

Williams had the worst game at left tackle that I can remember seeing. He's been suspect for a while, but I think were really going to regret drafting him. I'm all for moving him to RT

give the guy a second to watch film and try and improve. First game of the season, let's not jump the gun.

I think we're going to see a changing of the guard at tight end.

He needs to be our possession receiver.

Just go ahead and change your avatar to Reed...your right, he plays like a back up and has no business playing 90% of the plays on defense. The guy is a huge liability in coverage and had a pretty untimely whiff on the Bradshaw TD run

Every back up is a liability when the starter goes down. I just hate dumb fans who act like this is the end of the world when our back up plays like a back up. You know who's a liability? Trent Williams. He's our starter, and he needs to play better since he's the starter. Come on, I thought people were smarter than that on this board. Ugh.

Chris Neild - 2 sacks & a Forced Fumble

Ryan Kerrigan - INT, Game-Winning TD

Awesome.... just awesome.

If this doesn't validate the importance of the draft, I don't know what does.

Also, some of the FA acquisitions under MS produced as well I think Bowen had a sack and so did Carriker. I'm hyped about our young players.

WTF?
He was the leading tackler in a game we won.

Re: Giants-Redskins Gameday Thread

T Williams looked quite bad out there, a true liability. Wonder what we can do to help that situation. Too early to give up, but not encouraging that he's no better this year.

Would be an interesting idea to switch J.Brown and TW. I'd say give him a couple of more games.

I definitely understand what you are saying. But Jammal Brown is not as quick as he used to be so I'm not sure he's the answer on the left side, either. What we need is for Williams to show some pride and wake the frick up.

On the other hand, three cheers for a defense which scored more points in the second half than the Giants did!

Let's wait and see about T. Williams. Yes, this was, by far, his worst game. He seems to struggle against speed rushers, and gets beat off double moves, but I'll give him a pass this game.
