Re: Falcons pregame thread
I hope we see J. Davis get even more snaps this weekend. Pitts is a freak athlete and would/will absolutely embarrass Bostic. We need Davis’s speed in coverage.

Literally the number one most important thing about Sunday is that Bostic isn’t put in that position. Yet I have this odd feeling I am going to watch him get torched while RR and JDR look on like stone faced zombies from the sideline. |

Re: Falcons pregame thread
I am sure I saw somewhere that one of the College highlights that got Davis noticed was when he played against Pitts and did a pretty good job.... hopefully Ron and co remember that

Re: Falcons pregame thread
I have Pitts on one of my FF teams, definitely thinking this will be his breakout game

Re: Falcons pregame thread
Wish we had our guy at QB, look at Cincy, we are probably the better team but they got a QB. =(

Re: Falcons pregame thread
I was looking at PFF and Holcomb and his completion percentage against and allowed QB rating are not much better than Bostic. He is a liability in pass too. I think any LB we have on Pitts will need safety help all game

Re: Falcons pregame thread
Davis should be on the field 100% of the time, barring maybe a 1 play break here or there.
I'd much rather take my chances with Davis in coverage then either of the other 2 guys. Let him grow into the job. As someone else said, let Hudson play too. Go nickel with: Hudson, Davis, McCain, Fuller, Juste, Jackson, Curl.

Re: Falcons pregame thread
Finally: Curtis Samuel playing
He’ll be active, he’ll be ready to roll,” Rivera said, via Rhiannon Walker of TheAthletic.com. The Football Team will have to officially place Samuel on its 53-man roster. But Washington currently has a roster spot open for him, so the club won’t have to make a corresponding roster move. As for the rest of Washington’s injuries, running back Antonio Gibson (shin) was a limited participant in Friday’s session and is listed as questionable for Sunday. Per Ben Standig of TheAthletic.com, Rivera said he’s “pretty confident” Gibson potentially playing in Week Four, but it depends on how Gibson feels on Saturday. Defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis (knee) is also questionable, though he was a full participant on Friday. Guard Brandon Scherff (chest) was a full participant again on Friday and has no injury status, so he’s expected to play. Defensive back Benjamin St-Juste (concussion) did not practice on Friday and has been declared out.
