Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
One thing I didn't like about this game was how loud the Cowboys fans were. I do not want that to happen at FedEx again...

What’s joke - Tampa had a ton more penalties and Dallas had 5 1st downs due to penalties. Enjoy 0-1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
I have a feeling that won't happen this year. I think the whole fan base has kind of reset and bought into the culture change. At least I hope so.

Sure feels like people are buying back in, but will it translate into people actually showing up to this stadium so many think sucks (disagree about that but not the point) ? Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk

Yeah, it's depressing. Dak is a boss. I was beyond impressed by how good he looked in general, let alone coming off of that injury. He is going to be a problem for a long time.

If the refs had called that OPI correctly on the last drive we might be talking about Dallas 1-0.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Cannot believe how the Cowboys, many of their fans and many outsiders (including me) were hesitant about giving Dak a contract that large. He totally changes the outlook of their team.
On the plus side despite winning the turnover by a wide margin and large number of TB penalties they still lost. 1 of 4 in the redzone I heard. Albeit against the TB defense, though they gave up a huge amount of yardage between the 20s. First week of the season, like with preseason. Don't get too excited or too depressed, I think some Cowboys fans are booking SB tickets already. |

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Yup…my other thought last night was Tampa Bay defense didn’t ever look in sync and they played but on their heels.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Dallas' D looked better than I expected. I don't quite know why TB didn't run more though. Seemed like they were intent on avoiding the middle of Dallas' DL with interior runs. When they did they were getting at least 3-5 yds a carry.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
In all fairness the bucs O gave Dallas a TD with that fumble, overall it was a good game to watch and yes Dallas will be hard to stop.. Our offense will have to put up points on them

Dallas did force a couple turnovers deep in Bucs territory- big time playmaking- but outside of that I’m not impressed with the defense. They are a sieve in the secondary, limited pass rush and can be taking advantage of in the run. Are they better than historically terrible..yeah

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Overall an enjoyable game though. Both teams were sloppy in some ways. TB got lucky turning the ball over 4 times and still winning. Dallas should have won handily if they scored TDs in the RZ. The refs made some bad calls throughout the game, still TB had 11 penalties for 106 yds.
