Then you should learn from your mistakes and come to the dark side with me and join me in hating KW II. LOL. You don't want to give KW II the same chance to prove you wrong, do you?

Re: Does character count?

But does anyone think that teams will look at this and say that they need to start taking attitude and character as seriously as they do 40 times?

Honestly? I think the answer is some teams will, and some teams won't, but the teams that will were probably already inclined to do so before these events. I can see the TO and KW events as something the smart teams will point to and say: "see, that's why we take character into account more than 40 times".........But I'm not sure any one or two individual events will change teams' minds who haven't cared up to this point. That's not to say I don't wish it would change the thinking around the NFL, I'm just not sure either of these events are enough to wake up the teams that haven't cared about character up to this point (in other words, Al Davis isn't going to wake up tomorrow and say, "Oh my God, what was I thinking all these years").

Re: Does character count?

He's getting close. All he has to do is throw in a shot at his teammates and he's on my shit list. Not like that means a damn thing, but he WILL be on the list.

I don't think we plan on that. Just discussions... We're not trying to change the world.

woah woah woah. i just heard that because nobody wants freddie mitchell and are going to trade for him, the eagles are gonna release him. they said he might end up in washington. i for one do not want that trash talking idiot on our team. he will make washington look bad. especially after his fat mouth still trash talked about rodney harrison after r.h. made more catches than him in the super bowl (rodney had 2 interceptions, mitchell had one catch)

I can't see any reason why we would sign Fraudie Mitchell. He'd be about 7th on our depth chart and, as you duly noted, he's an idiot. Just because we were kind enough to take Thrash back and overpay Trotter doesn't mean we want all of Philly's garbage. I sincerely doubt he'll find a new home in Washington.

Re: Does character count?

Because the NFC East recycles everyone's garbage. It is terrible how we keep these lame players in the NFC East.

No way Gibbs would have him on this team.

Re: Does character count?

Freddie Mitchell is the LAST player that would ever end up here in DC. No way, no how. He's not a Joe Gibbs guy.

Re: Does character count?

Very well put joecrisp! TO while supremely talented is also supremely immature as a vet. I think ST will come around and he has been getting some bad advice from others. I am not saying he isn't at fault, but TO has done crazy stuff in his years in the league and hasn't learned a thing from them. Hopefully Sean will get on the right foot here soon.

Re: Does character count?

T.O. there or not has on of the strongest off season work outs of all. People he works out with says its more than camp. Sure he should be there, but won't be the first time he hasn't been there or the last.
