He might become one sooner than later, but I'd hesitate to say he's a top 10 tackle yet.

I'm convinced only because he never needs a double team against guys like d ware or jpp of the giants

Any word if the Colts are moving to a 3-4? If so, would Rak be an enticing offer to them along with picks? Just wondering.

Sent from my Samsung Epic 4G.

Yes, they are. And yes, he would be. Assuming they are going to let Mathis go, or trade Freeney. Or both.

And, of course, assuming that they are even thinking about trading the pick.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)

TBH I am not sold on this move or any other that finds us giving away a ton of picks or solid players for a 50/50 chance to hit on a QB prospect. Sure it could work out, but with all the holes this team has I just don't see this being a great move.

I am also wondering why so many in this thread have us trading players who aren't under contract. LL, FD, and Fletch all are not on our roster anymore. I also don't see the team signing the players to deals just to trade them.

You could franchise LL and trade him. A way to hold Laron and while details are worked out for the event trade. FD and Fletch are most likely coming back, SS said deals are almost done for both.

I am totally on board with this 30gut. My 1st choice to be honest. Well unless we could get Luck at a reasonable price. Which I know is not possible.

The only player I would trade Orakpo for would be Luck, no one else. I would give them the 6th, Orakpo, Hall and next year's 1st.

He's good, but not so good that trading him is a deal breaker when you're trying to acquire a rare talent like RGIII.

For real.

I must say, if we trade up I would hate to lose any of our current good young player such as Rak. I would only do it to get Luck IMO.

I feel the same. Not really big into losing guys we have drafted so recently and made the probowl twice in three years. Yeah the guy has value, but does he not have alot of value for us?

RGIII. Why do some many think he is a franchise QB? There are so many questions about him, that for all the positives you can give there are just as many reasons not to do a deal. This is the problem with the college game transferring to the NFL. There are so many unknowns that when you have to give up so much for a prospect it is a gamble that is hard to swallow.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)

FD and Fletch need to be a part of this team not traded to someone else.

Plus a guy like Fletch won't be commanding much in a trade. FD is a different story, but we don't have the luxury of getting rid of him. He is a big part of this offense. If we are trading away a bunch of picks then we won't be able to replace him in the draft.

I know he's a fan favorite but Cooley is worthless around the league. Past his prime and off an injury. Orakpo and this years #2 is a good start but i think if we are gonna wrap the trade up early it will take a little more.
