Is there a link available on NFL.com? Sorry for being lazy I don't want to sit through 3 or 4 minutes of advertisements to find one video.

This year alone has shown they are not on the same old path by how they turned 5 picks into 12 and brougt in cheap talented vets. So what really does the media want? They complained about the Skins spending sooo much money on vets and trying to buy a championship, and when the Skins finally stop doing that they again ridicule the Skins saying they had a bad offseason and won't do well? WTF?

Is it because the Skins didn't go out and pick up a QB like all the media pundits said we needed and had to have? The Skins didn't do what they said the Skins needed to do so they have turned on the Skins?

Does Buffalo have the same problem with their winningless team? What about Cinci? I don't know about the rest of you but I hardly hear the media bad mouth Cinci like they do the Skins. But it's obvious tue media doesn't like a team to go out and buy all the big names in order to win it all right? Wrong, just look at the love fest over the Eagles and Jets this year. They did what the Skins have done and everyone is all over their jocks this year talking about they are going deep into the playoffs with what they picked up.

I can only hope the cohesiveness is not there and they bomb, and the Skins do better and atleast make it into the playoffs just to rub it in.
I like your view points

Here is another trend to monitor:

When Doc Walker goes crazy over some athlete signing to come to DC - - does not matter the sport - - the guy will be an underachiever. Some of the "ballers" he has gone orgasmic about include:
Haynesworth - - and how he was going to make the Skins OL dominant like the Hogs because they would have to face him in practice every day. How's that for insight?

Juwann Howard (Wizards): Doc helped organize a rally outside the Wizards' office to sign Howard to a $105M deal.

Jaromir Jagr (Caps): He was Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe rolled into one.

Deion Sanders: Now the Skins' secondary would only have to defend half the field so imagine how many "pick Sixes" there would be...

Devin Thomas: If the Skins would only call the "9-route" for him (straight fly pattern), the whole league would take notice and defensive coordinators would have to adjust their thinking every time the Skins were on the schedule.
Fans love Doc because he tells them what they want to hear. Often, what they want to hear and reality have not much in common.

We Redskins fans are quick to laugh at the perennially awful teams like Cleveland, Cincinnati, Detroit (no longer bad), St. Louis (also no longer terrible), etc. Guess what....we are part of that list until we can be a consistent playoff team.
You want the shit talk to stop.....start winning.
We have been embarrassingly bad at times in the last three years and when Spurrier was here. Add in all the embarrassing Snyderatto moments and it is safe to say we earned the shit talk.
Winning cures everything.
Plus..who really cares what others have to say about us.
Let's take care of our own business and punch some people in the mouth on the field this coming season.
HTTR!
I just really shocked that alot of the Redskins Hate is coming from former Redskins like I stated before ( Riggins, Lavar, BMitch) its like they have a ax to grind with Dan Synder. Its one thing to dislike the Owner but stop bashing the new coaching staff and players.

Well at least we now know Merrill Hodge isn't racist

Just for reference, Hodge's last QB whipping boy was Vince Young.

"6 plays. Split veer. It's like novacaine; give it time, it'll work" -Herman Boone

Right now its popular to make fun of the Redskins in the media. Need a butt of a joke? Hey the Redskins are sub .500 this year. Simple fact is we have over 10 years of embarrassment to make up for. Snyder's approach now, per fan feedback, is to step back and let our management/coach run this team like other successful franchises in the league. It will take time though. On another point, how many years in a row have we heard the f**king cowboys get so much praise as "the team to beat" or the "team to make the super bowl" and watched inconsistency and poor football playing? This makes the media look just as bad as when they make unwarranted jeers at our decisions. Our playing and our success will either shut them up or make them refer to us as posers or flukes. Either way, playoff appearances and SB rings talk. Not self proclaimed football pundits.

Cowboys have warranted the attention on some level. They have had quality backfields, a pro bowl passer, good lines, and the best pass rusher in the game along with a slew of other attributes. Not to mention the fact that their win totals the last few years (not including 2010) 11, 9 13, 9, 9. Most of the heavy Super Bowl hype kicked up after they won 13 games. And they still could win, kind of like the Giants and Packers with their out of no where Super Bowl victories.

HOWEVER, I'm inclined to think that the Boys Parcell magic is starting to wear off and we're getting closer and closer to the late 90's where Qunicy Carter was the truth and Dave Campo was Jurruh's puppet. However we may still be a few years away from that phase. Nevertheless I feel like it's coming. Either way, once Romo is gone or out of magic, they're done.

My point (and I seem to not be making these very clearly lately, and I apologize for that) is how many times do the cowboys need to prove them wrong before the credibility is worn down?

As long as they're posting 9 and better seasons year in and year out they have a chance. Think of them as the NFC version of the Colts without the once in a generation player. Same thing with the Eagles. It's one of those things where if you make it enough times your bound to eventually break through and get the 3 or 4 games necessary to be a champion

Good news for us though is the fact that last year they started to show chinks in the armor. The Giants also are starting to look weak as well (cap problems and two missed playoffs). If the Beck experiment pans out the East could be a race between the Skins and Eagles. However we need still need to learn to walk before we can run
