Re: Redskins sign QB Kellen Clemens
Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
I have been a support of JC since he has been here but today I come to realize that JC is not suited for the WC offense. If we let JC walk at the end of the year who do we have as our starter? I think the Titans would be willing to let Vince Young go for the right compensation so would you rather make a deal for Young or Keep Jason Campbell ( Soup to some of you)? Do we spend a 1st round pick on a collage QB? How long will he sit or start right away. No matter who coaches we will need a QB next year. I think Young needs a new start and I like his athletic ability. I MADE THIS POST ON 11-21-2010 . LOOK at our QB situation now, no Jason Campbell or McNasty. We gave up a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for rd pick for McNasty. I think we have nothing to lose by bringing in Vince Young for a chance to compete for a QB job. all he does is win. __________________ Lets build our team through the Draft and bring in some young dynamic players. ^For the right price, bring him in, make him earn his money, and have his replacement waiting in the wings before his contract is up. This team has to start thinking forward.

Re: Redskins sign QB Kellen Clemens
You have many options at QB next season, many potential goodies in the mid to lower picks in the first round or ones that might go in the top of the second round just in case we go around .500 this season. I would love for us to get Kellen Moore. That guy has a cannon!!!!! I do not think we will do so bad to garner a real shot at the elite though. I am thinking someone that is good, but will be under the radar. ANy SEC or Big Ten QB should be a good choice. If Dan Persa stays healthy he might be a very good pickup if he is available for us. He should garner great stats like in 2010, but with the addition of Nebraska and a resurgent Michigan, the Wildcats will be lucky to go bowling in Jan.

A wasted signing. Shoot if you were going to sign someone like that, might as well have signed Frerotte to a one year deal. Shoot he did a decent job subbing for Jackson in 2008. If he has anything left in the tank and is healthy, he would have been a better signing than this guy!! |

I've never seen an average player get so much run. A guy from 10+ years ago too no less. The Gus references are beyond stale at this point.

Maybe in ten years I will make references to Colt Brennan every single time I can. LOL.

Re: Redskins sign QB Kellen Clemens
Not much of a rush really. I don't believe he could even suit up and practice before the 4th. But, I hear he may actually sign tonight or tomorrow. Either way, he'll be back. I'm not worried

Re: Redskins sign QB Kellen Clemens
So what is the word on Kyle Orton? Now that Miami is seemingly out of that race, or so it is being reported, where does he end up? Would the Skins take a chance on him or is Denver just asking too much for him?
