Re: Rex Grossman on NFL Radio Sunday
Yes, he threw 6 picks in his last six 5 games.
He also threw 10 touchdowns and rushed for 4 touchdowns in the last 5 games, rushed for an average of 60.5 yards per game (including a 130 yard rushing performance against the same Giants that provided a "blueprint" on how to beat him), and had a 62.5 completion percentage average in all five of those games. ...Yeah, I'd say teams needed to rework their blueprint on Vick a little bit.... |

Re: Rex Grossman on NFL Radio Sunday
62.5 is still a drop off from 64 percent in his first 7 games. Maybe not as drastic as I initially thought. 12 TD to 0 ints in the first 6 games. 12 TD to 7 ints in the final 6. 56.8 to 60.5 so his rushing did improve but his rushing attempts were also on the rise. Probably due to the fact that he was running for dear life. He was sacked 20 times over the last half of the season. 109.4 was his QB rating over the first 6 and 89.9 (slightly above average) was his QB rating over the last 6. He declined in just about every catagory. But I will concede the rushing yardage, rushing TDs and the second Giants game to you sir. I'm willing to admit when you make a valid point.

It seemed like every time the Eagles went 3 wide the Vikes brought a NB and they were in the backfield untouched. |
