All of a sudden I have visions Mike Brown giving a tour of the facilities to a potential new coach, opening a closet door, and inside is some ancient guy with rolls of old 8mm film watching film clips from the 1986 Fiesta Bowl. Mike then says "and this is Barney, our scouting department."
Smallest In the league. If I remember right, they have one scout for every five other teams have

Perfect example here:

RT @Sprow_ESPN: How good was Hue? W/o dramatic personnel moves, Raiders went from 4,256 yds in '09 to 5,674 in '10. (Al gets a nod.)
Well, we could argue all day about whether it was more JaMarcus vs. Campbell/Gradkowski or that Run Dmac stopped running like a girl, but I'll give credit where it's due.

Jackson did fix up JC quite a bit. No, JC still isn't that good, but he played better than under the Zorn. He also utilized much of the talent at his disposal, like Ford, Reece, etc. He certainly earned his shot.

So now the Rams, Seahawks, and Niners front offices are all officially run by former Redskins scouts

Telling. 3/4 of the worst division in football are all run by former Redskins scouts. Fail. Hahaha.

Maybe next year a former Skins scout can GM a 6-10 team to a division title.

The Lambs seem to be digging themselves out of the grave though, although that maybe due to Spags and not the scouts.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Al Davis just fired a coach who rallied a moribund team to finish 8-8 (6-0 in its division by the way).

Sound familiar...?

Now, if Al Davis goes and makes an offer to the Ol' Ball Coach, we will know that Danny Boy really is Al Davis' unacknowledged offspring.

Speaking of Oakland, JC was on ESPN First Take this morning doing some Bush league contest with Joey Harrington, anyway Jay asked him about Cable and of course Jason did the status quo answer.. But what caught me is when Jay said "I'm sure your happy to finally have some stability" LMAO Wait Jason will have a NEW HC after just 1 year in Oakland and was benched 2-3 times this year.. Yea thats Stable

I wonder if Elway will be able to lure Harbaugh to Denver?

John Elway back in saddle as the czar of Denver Broncos - ESPN

I would much rather have Harbaugh go to Denver than SF. I hate the 49ers and their fans.

It better be under an offensive minded HC then. His playcalling isn't up to par.

The Dolphins are courting Harbaugh as well according to ESPN.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Per adam s.

# Quite the expected doubleheader today for 49ers: Hue Jackson, then Jim Harbaugh. Could be the two men that wind up as Bay-Area NFL HCs. less than 5 seconds ago via ÜberTwitter

# With assist to @mortreport, 49ers expected to meet today with Stanford HC Jim Harbaugh at undisclosed location away from team's facility.
