Re: It's F'ing Houston week!

That foxsports guy is an idiot.

It was a hard played game. very physical. To not give us credit because they threw the ball too much is absurd. With Austin, Williams and the 1st round wonder, along with witten and a pair of good pass catching RB's, their passing offense will easily put up 4300+ yards this year. We kept a lid on their scoring, and we made just enough plays when we needed to.

It was a good first game of the season win, and our offense can only improve. I predict 9 or 10 wins and a WC playoff berth this year. That guy is a moron.

Whoah, let's hold our horses for a second. Completely agree with you that Whitlock is a know-nothing but to predict 9-10 wins after our offense put up 6 points at home (given that Dallas has a decent defense) is a bit strong.

We've got Houston, Indianapolis, and Green Bay in the next 5 weeks. I'll feel a lot better about this team once we show up against those three teams.

i'm just tired of not having a number 1 WR, i'd trade our entire draft if we could just land AJ Greene...and I"M dead serious too.

We all loved Whitlock two years ago when he was calling Zorn the best head coach in the game

Wade Phillips’ Dallas DumBoys handed Mike Shanahan a season-opening victory. In a low-scoring, defensive affair, the DumBoys abandoned their running game for no reason. Marion Barber and Felix Jones split 16 carries and averaged a shade below 5 yards a tote. For some reason, overrated offensive coordinator Jason Garrett instructed Tony Romo to throw the ball 47 times. That’s the only reason the Redskins held Dallas to 7 points.

Washington’s defense was mediocre. The ‘Skins sacked Romo one time. They never mounted consistent pressure.

On offense, Donovan McNabb has two options: Santana Moss and Chris Cooley. Clinton Portis is washed up. Joey Galloway was washed up four years ago. The ‘Skins are counting on some 27-year-old first-year receiver, Anthony Armstrong.

It’s a bad team. The Redskins will finish closer to 1-16 than 8-8.

I'm going to sink down to his level and say Jason "Dim"-whitlock has no idea what he is talking about. Clearly that was no better then calling the Cowboys the Dumboys, but that is what a guy of these type of "opinions" deserves. I recall seeing him on the Sports Reporters a few times and thinking the same thing. Not sure how a guy like this gets a job in journalism, I suppose he does by taking the "edgy" stance to get people riled up. If that is the case, then I guess job well done.

Surprise that he's employed by Fox.. even if it is a separate division.

Never understood that whole idea of posting in other team's board. I already get in enough arguments with fans of the team I follow. LOL.

Re: It's F'ing Houston week!

Houston has bcome a bandwagon town now that they've experienced a little success in the post David Carr years. Some are going as far as comparing Arian Foster to Earl Campbell.

I'd be the last one to take anything away from Foster's effort against the Colts last Sunday, playing at home. When you can run the ball the way they did, it demoralizes a defense and creates endless possibilities in the passing game. This week, they have to bring their show on the road. He won't run the ball on our defense the way he did the Colts, we'll put him on the ground.

FedEx needs to be as loud this coming Sunday as it was last Sunday night, especially in the 1st & 4th qtrs. The Texans will go home feeling the same way the Colts were feeling when they left Houston last week.

I'd like to show you the abysmal NT situation the Redskins are in.
Kemo: awful
Haynesworth: average at best. That's very rare, btw. He's usually doing something wrong.
Holliday: WTF?
Bryant: Inactive.

Look for some fronts on Sunday that are not exactly 3-4 as we know them. They will do what they have to do with what they have to keep Arian Foster from doing to them what he did to the Colts. I'm going to have a little faith even though I know our run defense is not our best weapon.
