Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
I hope I'm never within arm's reach of this guy. Too many people want something for nothing.

When I saw that SS had started this thread, and closed all other Haynesworth threads, in an effort to instill more civility I was a little confused since I didn't notice anyone taking the issue personally. It appears that I have offended you by calling Haynesworth a pussy, and for that I am sorry. I will say that we differ in our opinions of what makes a pussy. Just because a guy plays the macho tough-guy act does not mean he is not a pussy. I don't respect machismo. To me a pussy is a guy who has no mental fortitude. A guy who cannot persevere. A guy with no self-discipline. That guy is Albert Haynesworth.

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
I would just like to say that I'm tired of the "arguably best DT in the league" nonsense. AH is not even close to the best DT in the league, unless you don't value things like: teamwork, commitment, and discipline. It's sad that the absence of those qualities doesn't seem to affect how people rank him among his peers. He's still at the top, even though he can't function on any team, and you can't count on him for anything.

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
AH just doesn't get it, and it's obvious he never will.
What annoys me most about all this is he's a constant reminder of what's been ailing this franchise since Snyder took over. It's unbelievable that after all the bad moves that have come through Redskins Park, we're sitting here today talking about perhaps the worst of one of them all. I just don't see where he's worth the trouble. Trade him for anything you can get. I don't care if it's only a 7th rounder. And if it comes down to it, I would seriously considering cutting him. |

lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
you're an idiot. i never said that. vvvvvvvvvvvvv Quote:
So, thats not what you said???? I'm an idiot? Know what comes out of your cock holster before blasting me for being an idiot.:tongue On another note, I just think cutting him without ANY compensation is dumb. It might happen, but I sure hope it doesn't. He IS a good talent, and at this point, I hope we could get at least a 3rd rounder for him, or a decent WR. I think that the teams willing to offer that up are few and far between tho, so here is to hopin'. |

Yes that is what I said. I though you said that I thought he was the best DT in the league..whatever mis understanding. Bottom line is he is not the best DT in the league. Not even close and when he's not on the field there is not a drop off. Cut our losses and time to move on. |

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
Fat Albert is a prim a dona. His attitude and work ethic is the cancer that the new regime is trying to kill. I'm in Shanny's corner. Fat Albert is too good of a player to just let walk, but he has to be a professional. A professional takes his job seriously and puts the work in. Fat Albert is a product of the times. He has this sense of entitlement but doesn't have the work ethic. This is an internal team problem. It's time for the veteran leadership to pull Fat Albert over to the side and find out is he with the team or is he going to be a sideshow. If is going to continue to be a sideshow, the team needs to send him packing. I've yet to see this so called "Best Defense Tackle in the Game" perform for a complete game. His fat ass needs to get with the program.

-Over 45 million dollars........repeat, 45 million dollars. What a tough pill to swallow, even for the free spending Snyder. -Marketability = ZERO. Obviously noone wants the guy, we have been More than dangling him around as trade bait, and not even a nibble. -Talent = High. If, and this is a big IF, but IF Shanahan can get this guy to literally get with the program, and he could conceed just a little bit of ground and offer somewhat of an olive branch and just start over, the rewards could be sky high. Its all about ego, and if Shanahan is serious about a title, then doing it with Haynesworth will be alot easier. A motivated and content Haynesworth is desirable, and if anyone can get him to play, its Shanahan. |

Somebody, maybe Fletcher?, needs to take AH out and tell him he needs to shut up, get with the program, and help this team win. If it hasn't happened yet, I doubt it will going forward. |

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
At this point I have zero faith that AH will just miraculously come around, fall in line, and get with the program. He's already saying he's going to be a no-show for next year's offseason program. He is what he is, a turd.
As much as it would hurt to cut him outright, I would rather go that route than let him continue to be a distraction in the locker room. Sometimes you just have to own up to a bad decision and cut your losses. |

Re: More Haynesworth Drama? Big Al Sounds Off After Ravens Game
This makes Shanahan look like a bitch for letting Albert trash him and the rest of the team, and MS not doing anything about it.
Jim Zorn let people walk all over him, especially CP, but now it looks like its the same old same old....
