Comparing TO and soldiers is apples and oranges, but my point was that there are people in this country that die every day that have given much more of themselves for the benefit of others than TO. I think to a man/woman everyone here acknowledges the fact that our men and women are dying in Iraq daily. We're extremely grateful for that too.

I don't think T.O. getting so much attention takes away or undermine their efforts in any way, I might add. But like I said, since T.O., because of antics, is now a celebrity in his own right, whenever he twitches it's news worthy. And just because it's newsworthy, we have no right to pass moral judgement on him as an individual.

I think you summed it up perfectly AJFC.

TO makes millions of dollars as an NFL receiver. He could be considered one of the best in the game based on his performances on the field. All of his negative publicity was due to him being an ass over and over again. He brought it all on himself. Now we're supposed to feel sorry for him, because he's a human? And this isn't directed at you per se, PSU...but why are we suddenly judging T.O. Especially since we don't know the whole story. But whatever.

Just clarification:
See prior post RE: McNabb, Garcia, locker room cancer, etc.

And I don't think anyone is worthy of forgiveness who hasn't actually sought forgiveness or admitted to doing something wrong. T.O. has never expressed any regret for his actions against teammates.......so why would I forgive someone who's never asked for it, shown any remorse whatsoever, or admitted they were wrong?

As for judging him? I, for one, judged him to be an a$$hole for years now. Nothing about these recent events has changed my opinion.
