That makes absolutely no sense.

Explain how you think the coaching search would have the effect you predict on the Redskins.
I was referring to the way that DS handled Greg Williams and Al Saunders. Then Snyder hired the coaching staff BEFORE he hired a coach.

He shafted Williams to a degree, he was obviously highly respected by the locker room, interviewed several times for the HC position, but instead got fired.

You see, turmoil at the seams can start just as easily from the top as it can in the locker room.

TO by himself did work. Now add Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones.
Let simmer under Phillips and Jerry Jones to give you a recipe for disaster.

Sandtrap, even a Cowboy fan has to be worried about adding all these
high risk players.

You talk about our coaching search. What about Jones opening up the
vault and promises made to Garrett? That has to give Phillips warm fuzzy
feelings about his future. I would be more worried about stability in your
locker room.
What promises? I highly doubt there is any "promise" to be the next head coach. The only promise that Jerry Jones made was to make Garrett the highest paid Coordinator in the NFL. Garrett has a choice, go to Baltimore with more than a lot of work to do to make that team a contender. Or stay in Dallas where he is stacked with 13 pro-bowlers, talent at all key offensive positions, and get paid as much or MORE than Art Modell was going to pay him as head coach in Baltimore. Sounds like a no-brianer.

To "promise" him the HC job would violate the "Rooney Rule".

Garrett was the only staff member in place. Whereas DS hired more than that. It is no secret that the only reason Zorn got the job was because no one else wanted it. All the candidates that were spoken to walked away, and the only thing left at the table was Zorn.

Then Snyder hired the coaching staff BEFORE he hired a coach.......come on sandy

Seems to me as I stated before I recall a team that did the same exact thing last year, do you remember who that was..? your boys

What kind of effect did that have on your team? Seams they where much improved, until when they needed to be. Starting week 17 in DC, that butt wippen they got in DC carried right over to the giants game.

And how so where Gregg and Al shafted to a degree? The man that pays the bills felt they where not right for the job. How is that getting the shaft?

Whereas DS hired more than that..? So what, what does that exactly mean to you then?

And you are 100% WRONG on the coaching candidates (unless you have some NFL insider secret if so prove it), if not get your facts at least close. Remember Fassel, Mooch & Meeks where all waiting to get the word on the coaching gig.

The Redskins happened to hire what they think is the right man for the job, plain and simple!

Yeah it was really something when Williams, Meeks, Fassel, Mariucci, and Schwartz all walked away.

It's probably best to ignore him. I made the mistake of replying as well. Just remember that first and foremost he's a Cowboys fan on a Redskins fan site. So while he, for the most part (unlike some of his fellow Cowboys fans) is not a bad member just be sure to take everything he says with a grain of salt.

Good point SS. He is a cowgirl fan on a Redskin fan forum with no logic behind his post. That kind of speaks for itself, just a little confused.

So are the cowgirls, they just realized right now they are the only team that have interest in this retard.

It's widely known that Garrett is being groomed to take over HC for the Cowboys. Phillips
has to be looking over his shoulder knowing he is a lame duck coach.

Rooney rule....I believe this doesn't apply if you have a succession plan in place. If Jerry had to obey Rooney rule, you don't think he would bring in someone to meet the
requirements.

Just about to post a thread about that but wow this guy is always involved in something. Granted this has been ongoing for a while, I still don't see why a team would even consider this guy. Way too many red flags.

I would wager that this incident is the one that gets Pac-Man another year's worth of vacation at least.
