The next 3 games will define the season and the future of the staff .. We are better than the Bears,Falcons and Giants .. at least player wise . Coaches are on the Hot seat .. Ron and Jack and Eric better have them ready !!! Eric seemed to make huge adjustments from the Bills game ..this team has to WIN the next 3 .. no if and or buts !!!

He did have a muffled hand off that luckily bounced right back into his arms though...

Re: Eagles Postgame

Today doesn't feel like a shitty loss like last week did. This team has some dudes especially on offense! We will be fine.

Forbes will get better

DL has to make more of an impact

Re: Eagles Postgame

Whens the last time we can say that we got a TD with time expiring to tie a game? Great effort. Great by Sam. I would have gone for 2.

Re: Eagles Postgame

I have to say that was a hell of a game. The last drive in regular time was very impressive!

Let me ask, how many think you should have gone for two and ended it then, one way or another?

One of my friends, who was watching the game with me, immediately said, "Go for two" right after Dotson's TD. I quickly replied, "Hell no!" Then I thought about it for a few seconds and agreed with my friend. We had some momentum and I had no issues going for the win in regulation.

With that said, I had no problem with Rivera going for the tie and take the game into OT. If it was me, I would've gone for the two-point conversion and the win in regulation.

Re: Eagles Postgame

I am OK with the decision not to go for 2. With the Eagles D-line, getting 2 yards may be harder than getting 7. That decision was not nearly as painful as giving up two long plays. I know the last two games have been against good offenses, but our D has given up 33, 38, and 34 points the last 3 weeks. That has to change quickly if we're going to do anything this season.

Paddleboard Ron goes for 1.

The mythical Riverboat Ron goes for 2 and the win.

Re: Eagles Postgame

While I'm not going to kill Ron over the decision, but I would have gone for 2.

But what I will kill him over is his weak explanation saying the offense was gassed. Fuck that man, as head coach you own the decision.

He always has some lame excuse to cover his own ass. This after he has previously said the offense was in the best shape it's been in. But they are so dog-ass tired they can't line-up for 1 more play from the 2? Dude is always throwing his players under the bus to the press, it's one of this worst HC qualities.

You can call it weak, but I appreciate the honesty. He assessed the situation and made a decision he felt was best. At least he didn't flip a coin. Sounds like it was 50/50 on the sideline with regard to what everyone expected him to do. I'm fine with it. They got the ball and had the first chance to win. But they didn't.
