John Keim does another good write up. This one on Doug Williams, and a look at the draft management group.

Re: With the 13th Pick the Washington Redskins select...
My brain is swelling from processing all the information from the last 3 months of draft prep...from the college football games...combine...the visits...the rumors...ive discerned the fact from fiction...even analyzed the experts....ive asked myself the questions: Mel Kipers hair real?...Bucky brooks, is that his legal name?..
Right now ive entered another stream of consciousness... Draft Jedi type thing. One thing through this process has remained...Minkah Fitzpatrick draft stock from last year til right now has remained solid as the top 1 or 2 defensive graded player from most accounts. Fitzpatrick is the pick if there |

Would they go Fitzpatrick over James?

Re: With the 13th Pick the Washington Redskins select...
From what Ive heard, they are extremely high on both and I haven't heard a delineation between the two. I think it would be really unlikely if both are there...it really depends if an OT and WR is reached (very well could happened, extremely limited FA/elite prospects at both positions) before us.
Both are what teams crave from back line defenses...ball hawks and scheme/package versatility. Its not about Free vs Strong anymore. And from what Ive seen and read, Minkah gets the slight edge in both. |

Listening to Greg Cosell break them down he says Minkah is more versatile, James is a freak athletically but more of an in the box type of safety. And he did mention Sean Taylor in comparing their measurables.
I’d be pretty happy with either one. |

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/minkah...9-725ea4e0930c
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/derwin...5-53f9661a6a43 Thrilled with either as well. What I really like about Minkah: •Extremely competitive play demeanor with a history of showing up big in the biggest games •Has nine career interceptions and four pick-sixes (4 pick sixes is a record at Alabama) What you get with both, around the LOS both are extremely good at rushing the passer, blitzing off corner. This is something only few Safeties can do well. |

#Redskins Doug Williams says guard is not an absolute priority in the draft. On Alex Smith: "We got the best third-round pick in the draft."
Means we are taking a G lol JK

Buttering up my girl tonight with taking her to dinner so I can do some serious draft watching Thursday-Saturday.
Denzel Ward is my final guess as we get lucky again with a top 10 talent falling to us.

Cooley was gushing about Edmunds today, said he would be his top choice of all the possibilities at 13

I really doubt either is there at 13. Question is would you even consider jumping to 10 and brother Gruden if one still remains?
