DH doesn't even have a 300 yard game. The guy doesn't have it. He will never make the players around him better.

Watching Mahomes last night made me depressed about our QB situation..lol. He just drops dimes and makes it look so easy while DH can't hit 10 yard passes.

Mahomes is already a top 10 QB of all time and will end up being top 3 for sure... He's a generational talent that you don't see very often. Not making an excuse for Haskins, I'd compare him to guys like Herbert and Burrow who are both clearly better.

Both Cincy and LA have poor lines as well and both of those ROOKIES have thrown multiple 300 yard games, yeah stats don't tell you everything but both QB's grades are way better than DH too.

You're right, he did have a decent rookie year, then had several years of garbage play. He had one of the biggest sophomore slumps. Later on, he even had a season where he completed 52%. That's unacceptable for an NFL QB. He's been a sub-60% passer most years, his value comes in his ability to run. Once that's gone, he's done for good.
Cam impacts the game and puts pressure on the defense because he is like another running back. He will never be a high % passer.

But at this point in their careers you simply can not compare the two players. You just can't.

After hearing Ron speak yesterday, I get the feeling that if Haskins blows it against Baltimore, we could see Allen week 5.. He basically said it's go time now for Dwayne. Ron understands that his offense is being held back due to the poor QB play. Terry is one of the best WRs in football, Sims is a good slot and Wright looked great Sunday.. There is talent at that position and the RBs looked good.. Haskins lost us that game period

He's started 10 games folks.

10.

All this talk about pulling the plug is ridiculous.

We could be CHI and had traded up to get Mitch while Mahomes was just sitting there.

Well there's no question he's in much better shape this year. He definitely would have benefited from a true offseason of OTA's.

Allen can run the offense better. I have no question about that. He at least had some really good games last year.
That is a good point. I just don't think any QB on this roster is fair to our WRs.

He has and I want to see the guy get better but Matty we can't sit back and let the offense look like shit due to QB play.. Unless they want to tank and if that's the case I'm cool with it.

I hear but there at this point isn't much to get excited about; so I understand folk's frustrations.

Is Kyle Allen going to make this a 10 win team?

Rivera has made it clear he's in full on rebuild mode. So what's the rush?

It's the worst part of the rebuild. Folks get a little taste of success and next thing you know it's "we have playoff potential this year, we can't afford to waste games developing a qb"

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?

I know 1 thing proven true...Logan Thomas is a nice number 2 TE. Gotta address TE sometime folks. Going on 3 years of very little talent on the field at TE
Absolutely ridiculous

Blows it?! You make it sound like WFT vs Balt is a toss-up game. If WFT can stay within 20 point of Balt it will be a miracle.

Comparing Mahommes to DH is ridiculous. Mahommes is on a functioning NFL franchise while DH is on the most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL. If you put Mahommes in DH situation as a rookie he wouldn't be successful either.
