Need to expand your horizon my friend. Keep the Skins as your fav, but start embracing the NHL. YOur Caps are a fine team. Unless they meet the Red Wings in the Cup, I cheer for the Caps and I am in Detroit. Face it, even if Bruce and Mike are successful, it might take 4 seasons to see the real results. In the meantime split the time with the Caps til that time comes. At least the Caps earn their money and show some pride!!!!!!! |

The only RB I would even consider is CJ Spiller

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Cowboys)
Hard to blame the offense for anything that happened yesterday. We're on the backups of the backups, and the defense for Dallas has been ballin' week in and week out since the first time we played them. If we were going to be in this game, we were going to have to try to win it 13-10, or 10-7 or something.
So with that said, only one smackdown for me. The First Drive Quick change situation, and we need some sort of stop, at the very least, hold them to the field goal and see if we can't generate a big play off the kick return. Instead, we get a really poor effort, zero pass rush, poor gap responsibility, no interior line performance, and then Hall is covering no one on the TD pass. Even when Orakpo got close to a drive changing play, he couldn't seal the deal. There were a lot of good things that the defense did in that game (excellent on short yardage, as usual), but ultimately, it's a unit that hasn't had much of an injury list all year. They strive for mediocre. It's just too pathetic an effort from a superior group of players.

^ rabach for depth plus he's not that bad. All I'm saying Is that we won't be bringing alot of players back. Shanny will rebuild completely

In my opinion, one of the tangibles that made Shannahan and the Broncos so good with Elway is the Broncos organization dedicated over 25% of thier TOTAL CAP to just the offensive line. This provded quality talent up front.
You could put your grandmother behind that line and she would get 1200 yards a season. |

Upon further review, laying the smackdown on our running backs. We really really miss Clinton Portis. We've got a bunch of matadors in the backfield now. No one blocks like CP

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Cowboys)
The problem is that it's the only thing he does well at this point. He lacks speed, vision, agility and durability to be an every down back in the NFL anymore. At least on a team that relies on a heavy dose of running the ball.

The problem with Cartwright, Mason, and Ganther is that they're all the same guy.
