Re: Wild Card Weekend

Baltimore gave that game away last night. Harbaugh is a cocky asshole but that was a solid game plan.

Just found out Brady is undefeated against the Cowboys. I hope he has one more in him.

Re: Wild Card Weekend

So far the playoffs are telling us that Head coach and organizations are so very important.. maybe as important than the Big name QB .. Miami and Baltimore both played well against better QB .. San Fran has a rookie .. Daniel Jones is not a Great QB .. however They all are well coached and great Schemes.. under the Right coach and scheme we are a few players away .. OL needs upgrading for sure and a TE that can dominate .. Under the right coach we don’t have to have Mahomes to win ..

Great Sunday to watch football. Cooked all day, watched football all day.

Glad the games stayed competitive.

--------------

Cousins checkdown on last play was vintage "process oriented" Kirk.

All routes covered = checkdown .. thats the binary computer rule.

As I pointed out earlier with the exception of Brady (exception to everything QB related!), they're all home grown. Find your guy and once you've found him, groom him and keep him. Coaching is a massive part of that. OC/HC knowing what they can trust their QB to do and not do is key. Look at how Jones and Lawrence have improved this year with better coaching, and their coaches showing trust in them.

O'Connell has shared some blame in that and rightly so. 4th and 8 you need your receivers all moving, all play and around or beyond the 1st down. Short yardage, yeah you can have a guy go out in the flat and beat his man on a quick play, but being pretty much stationary 2 yards downfield your guy is unlikely to reach the marker. Cousins may well have been looking for a sure fire completion over chancing his man going and getting the ball (which is probably why Jefferson had a quiet half), so yeah he should have taken a chance. But having your outlet receiver in a position where he'd have to make an awesome play to get the 1st down isn't smart either.

idk man

Video of the play ... I didnt listen to this guys commentary

4 wide ... 3 receivers go beyond the sticks, Cousins with some incoming pressure but nothing hot hot .. makes a quick decision to check it down to the outlet guy

Outlet guys imo are check down if-all-else-fails options .. and thats on normal plays, not your season on the line and you need 8 yards plays.

Computers cant appreciate context .. Kirk is a computer.

Re: Wild Card Weekend

Very competitive games, with Miami being able to keep it that close was the most surprising to me,the Vikings being the least surprising.
I didnt watch 2nd half of Bengals, that was a lot closer than expected also.On that fumble return for td,there was a clear push in the back on Andrews that sent him tumbling that wasnt called,I dont know if it was mentioned during the game or not, sportscenter didnt say shit about it on the replays

LOL. This article.

Kirk Cousins is never going to win anything because he’s a Costco hotdog
