I think this will be Reid's final year, unless they miraculously, somehow win it all...which will NEVER happen for Philadelphia.

Yeah!...Reid was obviously trying to put a positive spin on things in an effort to demonstrate unity between he and the FO, but without a doubt there's tension there.

Well Shanahan must be happy:

How ready to go is McNabb? When I got to the Redskins practice facility this morning, he was already in the weight room working out about 1 hour ago via OpenBeak

As I've stated previously, Andy Reid looked like the hostage in the ransom tape during that presser. Now his career rests in Kevin Kolb's arm.

i hope mcNabb's first completion is something reminicent of Portis's first play as a redskin. Man that had me fired up.

Ah, the morning glow is starting to shine!
Let's not get ahead of ourselves but if we do I'm pretty sure he would enter the HoF as an Eagle. I mean, look at Ricky Jackson of the 2010 class, he won a SB with the 49ers in his last season in the league but he choose to be inducted as a Saint.

I think we've been over this before but players don't go in to the Hall as a member of a certain team.

For the billionth time, unlike the baseball HOF, football HOF'ers are not associated with any specific team when they are inducted.

I think the question really is will Andy Reid be McNabb's Hall of Fame presenter, or Mike Shanahan?

So McNabb will be an Eagle when he goes into the HOF, is that what you are trying to say?

Probably Reid, they're pretty close.

But a couple of Super Bowl wins could change things.

Definitely Reid unless McNabb wins a Superbowl here. If that happens, I think McNabb will end up retiring as a Redskin.

I know that they list the teams the player played for but that doesn't mean he isn't associated with one team. Jackson played 13 out of 15 years with the Saints...he's a Saint and inducted as a Saint regardless of what teams are listed besides his name.

Riggins is listed as both a Redskin and a Jet.

This is just a list of HOF'ers by franchises. If you notice for example, Reggie White is listed with the Green Bay Packers, Eagles, and Panthers. I'm sure people associate certain players with certain teams (i.e. Art Monk with the Redskins and not the Jets) etc., etc. But this is not like the HOF process in baseball where players retire as part of the team, and even have that team's cap in their HOF plaque.

If the name bold that's the team the player is inducted under. Jerry Rice is a 49er...period!
